Will my Nose Look Swollen and Big for Ever?

I got my nose surgery almost 3 weeks ago, My upper lip is so stiff and my tip looks bigger than before i got it done, all i wanted was my nostrils narrow and my tip a bit smaller! now i have smaller nostrils and a bigger tip!

I'm so scared it will stay this way, I feel regret for having done this to myself, at least before i could smile now i can't even do that, i have been a bit depressed as well, i don't want to do this again. any advice would help. thank you.

Will my nose ever look smaller and not swollen and stiff?

At first my doctor was very nice and said he would go over the procedure on the day of surgery, when i saw him that day he was too busy with personal probles to sit at my bedside and inform me of what he was about to do to me,(i was pretty scared! then when i had my folloing check up he was too busy and always in a rush ive had 2 check ups so far. Funny thing is, once he they have your money your just a number.

Please don't freak out like me. I'm one month post op and believe me your nose is going to be swollen and go through changes. Especially the tip. The tip is the last part of the nose to reduce swelling because its the lowest part. My tip was huge at two and a half weeks I called my Dr. panicked my nose was looking worst when then when the cast came off. He assured me its swelling I should know better cause I;m a nurse but when you see it on yourself you freak out. Remember it will take 6-12 months for all the swelling to go all the way down. And he was right my nose is looking better every day .
i listen to you and hope this helps because i am in the same boat as yourself and i am beside myself with worry. I just wish you luck as my nose is still awful but i am only on my 9th day so holding out hope
Well today is my 13th day after my septoplasty and Rhinoplasty and Omg i hate my nose!! it looks the damn same as it did b4 but its straighter and a little thinner well thats wat my sisters said.. but i deff. didnt see no diffrencee and am so0o depressed rite now nd like i feel like i want to cry so0o bad and all i talk about is my nose nd i keep looking at it and it seems bigger then it was and its long or still long nd maby because he raised the tip a little so it looks longer.. but plz Help mee!! is it ganna look better or wat?? is it swelling or wat and like i dont believe its swelling tho0o
Hi there, hope your feeling better. i have been waiting for my nose to look smaller and now i think it has come down a bit but my nostrils are uneven! so i think i might need a revision god i hope not but oh well, hang in there tiger!:) im sure youl get good results. Saotome.
well 2day is my 18th day after the surgery and no acuallly it pretty much looks the same and am still hopeing thats its just swelling.. do u think if i tape my nose it will help?? iam stilll sooo confused and frustrated nd all.. am still praying and hoepeing that its just swelling and my nose will get smaller.. do u think its a little early 2 judge my nose now?

well like i said it now been 18 days after My septo and rhinopasty and Omg my nose is still swollen and it Looks Big!! especially from the angels and like the front of my face.. nd yeaa am still Depressed because of it and am hopeing and praying that it would be just swelling.. do u think if i tape itt if would help??? and is it too early 2 judge my nose well it been more then 2 weeks now nd i see no big diffrence in my nosee
im on my 5th week and my nose is realy no different in fact i look odd looking now as it has effected my eyes everyone has mentioned this as well. I still have a odd smell as well and if you get any help or suggestions on corective surgery please let me know. i wishh you all the best
