I am 8 days post-op from my surgery. I had a full tummy tuck and breast lift with silicone implants. I am 31 years old and have had 3c-sections in 6 years. My tummy hung over my scar and I had no muscle definition from my middle down. I also had tons of stretch marks from my pregnancies. Between nursing my kids and losing the rest of my weight my breasts looked horrible. I was so embarassed and couldn't find a bra to save my life. I am really happy with my choice so far. I love to look at how round my new breasts are.

I can with all honesty say that my procedure was painfree. I kept waiting and waiting for the pain to come and it never did. I actually walked with a walker out of the recovery room and stood straight, the nurses had to tell me to bend over. I can't even compare it to my csections, they were 10 times more hard and painful. After reading everyone's reviews on here one night I was so apprehensive about how painful it would be, I am glad I did it. To me the only thing that has been bothersome is the drain I have and the binder I have to wear for 3-4 weeks.It is just a pain. I was pretty drowsy for about 4 days after, too. I did take the Lortabs for the first day or so on a regular basis because I was afraid it would hurt.

I am really surprised to hear so many people say how severe the pain was. Maybe it depends on the dr. I have a little bit to go before I can see the final results but I will update soon. As of now I would do it again in a heartbeat. I feel like my confidence is thru the roof now and I would say if you have the means, Do it, especially us moms. We always put our families first. We have to do something for us too, it only makes us better MOMS!! I would glady answer any questions or concerns to the best of my ability. I didn't have very many people to consult with on my surgery. Good luck and best wishes.

wow that's definatley put my mind at ease!I only hope mine will be as pain free. im due to have the same op end of march,and was really apprehensive up until i read this blog. My main concern is looking after my 7 month boy,and 22 month daughter, i also have an 8 yr old daughter,but she's self sufficient.If anyone else has any other re-assuring advise pls keep me posted.No horror stories please!
Just the posting I was looking for! I'm a mom of 3 having a tummy tuck & silicone implants in May and was worried from hearing all the horror stories. My babies were all born via c-section and was wondering how the pain would compare. I was thinking it might be similar??? and am happy to hear your procedure went well. I am 42 years old and just had a tummy tuck with breast lift. I am 2.5 weeks post-op. I am not overweight and my surgeon is considered to be one of the best in the country. I found the tummy tuck to be MUCH more painful and difficult to recover from than my c-sections. I found the breast pain to be minimal but the abdominal pain to be severe initially and prolonged now. I am getting better but now I'm having bad back pain. Don't get me wrong, I look fantastic and I am very glad I did it but when I hear people say that a c-section is easier, I have to say, NOT for me it wasn't! Good luck!
How did you find/choose your doctor? I've had 4 c- sections and breastfed and I need all the above too.
I am one week post op and had a breast lift and silcone implants along with a tummy tuck. I am healing well and everything looks fine. My only complaint is that I was a full C when I went in for surgery and told the dr that I wanted to come out a DD or a little larger. He put in 400 CC high profile implants and from what I am looking at now I can't imagine that I will even be a D. I was told that I would have to be at least one size larger since only skin was removed, but I can barely tell a difference at all. I am extremely diasappointed. I was not told of any difficulties during surgery that impeded a larger implant. I have been told that the implants will drop and look more natural, but not necessarily larger. I am very upset. Anyone with a similar experience or advice?
I've had a couple of consultations here in OKC but haven't decided who to use. Can you tell me what Dr. you went to??? I'm excited to hear that you had such a great recovery!
