Hello, I'am 1week post-op from a BA

Im kind of worried, I was a 34 small C tight and non saggy. My PS thought 450cc would be lovely for my body type, Im 5'10 170 pounds. Now that my wraps are off and the swelling is down I look like just a full C. I had 425 filled to 460 mentor Round Mod Plus saline "Unders" via breast fold.

I had fallow up yesterday my PS say's They will go down some from the top. Will they become smaller,or larger ? and what changes will I see? with my type of BA?

Con? Maybe I went to small .So many years of long thoughts .So far no harsh pain .Scar is at min. In a good location .

Cant wait to see the full results

HI! I was interested in your tag because I, too, am 5'10" and weigh 160, so we are really close in size. I was about the same size as you to start, as well. 9 days ago I had 200cc put in and was frustrated they were too big! I have talked with my doctor and have read that they are supposed to go down in size in the next few weeks. I will say that mine have begun to "un-swell" a bit and I am happier. I have read tons of information the past few days and get the same answer. Give it time though. They will look different in the next few weeks. Hopefully you will love them...good luck!!!!!
Thanks for your post. It takes time. Im starting to love them more and more I know this for the fact,Im buying more Tops that fit:) Im now waiting for my new twins to drop more.
help! i just got them and am nervous about size too- i am 5'8 and 135 lbs and got 300/350 ccs. how much did it change your cup size?
I know with the 200 cc my doctor informed me I was getting less than 1 cup size difference. I have had 'them' for 8 months and they are really good. It took months for the swelling to go down but I had a lift done 2 weeks after the implant and that extended the healing time. I am at peace now but sure felt huge for a while. good luck!!
i feel like the are huge melons and i am so nervous! i can't see how they will go down? after a few weeks they started to look more normal? i am mad he put in more than 200cc. i said small b and 200cc and i woke up to this...
hang in there...I do promise, they will go down. I cried, cried, and cried more thinking my boobs would be the first thing people saw when I approached them and I was going to have them removed. Through the help and advice from friends, people I met on this site, and some teriffic doctors on this site, I opted to wait it out. It took a couple of months and it has now been 8....they will continue to settle. :) good luck...I hated my decision at first too.
Hi, I am 5'8", 170 lbs. and currently a 38 B. My surgeon won't go bigger than 375 cc due to problems she said when patients go bigger than they should based on the skin streching. I want a CC or D. I am afraid I will be unhappy that they are too small also. She said the complications include the sutures coming apart, contractures, etc. when people go too big. Sigh. She is my OBGYN and I would trust my life in her hands as she did my partial and bladder lift and is an excellent cosmetic surgeon as well. What sizes did you guys start out as? And what size are you now?
Hello, I stared with a small c cup.Im tall,170 pounds I have hips and butt so my thought a 400cc were the best.I Thought too big!! My PS picked out 425 over filled to 460 mod pro plus "unders". so far I love them im glad I didnt go smaller. 2 weeks 3 day post op.My PS say's Ima 32D so far... Make sure you bring a sports bra when you see your PS so he/she should let you try on the sizes * remeber what ever size you go with will be slightly smaller due to being in the skin.
I would only go to a board certified plastic surgeon for Breast surgery. They are specially trained to manage all issues with breast implants. I do not think a plastic surgeon would attempt to do a bladder lift.
I wish my CS would decide to go with the 400 cc size and overfill but she said "I won't go bigger than 375cc" with you. I am sure she will overfill a bit but I will clarify so there's not a greater chance of rippling, and I will clarify with her what size actual implant cause I want the biggest she will go and she already said no bigger than 375 cc with me. She knows my lifestyle and it's very high stressed and she knows I will only have about 4 to 5 days down time. I have orders for my bloodwork and she is going out of town so we will do markings when she gets back she said. I saw no point in sizing if she won't go bigger than I am sure I want, but I trust her advice. It's just that I am seeing alot of pics that I have found of women with 375 cc and they look great!!! But they weigh less than I do and there is only one my height, 5'8" and the rest are shorter. Maybe I should buy the size kit so I don't feel so disappointed already that they will be too small. Maybe they will be fine. I would be happy with a CC.
Yes... haveing a wonderfull CS/PS that knows you is an + It al depends on what look you are going for. Even though 400cc sounds big but for my height and weight it looks wonderfull (not [RS bleep] starish)lol... Try them on if you can, you do not wont to make an regrets. sounds like you are going high profile? if so that could be why she will not go any biger.(they give a highest projection) are you haveing unders or overs? That make a Huge differance.... Goodluck
I am one week post op after a ba/lift with 400 cc's under the muscle. I am 6' and weigh 165 and the 400s are HUGE. I know everyone says the swelling will go down, but right now I agree with your doc and would definitely stay under 400. I really wanted closer to 300 but I decided to leave it up to my PS to balance my body objectively since I was used to my boobs being so deflated. I may change my mind over the next few weeks but right now I am mad at myself for not being more definitive with my PS about the CCs.
I am 5'7 now weigh about 158 after lipo and new breasts on May6th 09. A critical factor in getting the implants is how much skin you have originally like deflated A or a deflated C...I was a deflated saggy B and went to a 320cc saline in my 30's now at 50 years of age I went 533cc silicone(love the silicone) BUT BUT BUT my original saggy B's after 16years could have very easily held a 575 to 616cc..I AM SO MAD I didnt go there, my frame and personality could have handeled it but I chickened out while walking into surgey and did the 533cc they look fine but for the money I paid I should have gone bigger more voluptuous for my hips and frame..at 533cc I am a D..I wanted DD MY FRAME couldve handled it...but remember gals it goes by how much projection you want and the amount of breast skin or fat that gives the fullness..I am seriously going back in in 4 more months and making these NICE 533's 575's
I am now 1 day post op. I have a searing burning pain in the right breast and it feels like someone is taking a hot poker and sticking it through me all the way to my back. My cs ended up putting 380 in the right and 360 in the left. I can't say I was with it enough to see wether they are big enough to me or not. She wouldn't go bigger anyway and said they will be perfect for me. I see her today in a couple of hours. I called her last night about the pain. I think she will put me on something stronger. I had a local with under muscle saline. I literally drank about 20 glasses of water since the surgery yesterday and ate tons. I was so hungry. But the water is staying in me. I haven't urinated a whole lot. So I don't know where it is going.(the water) My cs said on the phone that she will also prescribe me something for swelling. My left breast feels fine (sore but not a bring you to your knees pain like my right one). I am really worried about it. If it wasn't there, I would be having minimal pain. But this almost unbearable.. I even cried.. something I didn't do even during childbirth. I have been close to vomiting and faiting I don't know how many times. My boyfriend and kids are taking good care of me though. Maybe the right breast pain is just due to stretching of a nerve, I hope so. I was fearing it was like a hematoma or something. Idk, I will see what she says at my appt today.
Goodafternoon, I hope you feel better :) Your pain should not last longer than 3 days. But it depeds on your tolerance. To me it sounds like your in alot of pain.Dont push that aside. When I had mine done I was in Pain for about 3 days my Ps gave me antibiotics for the chance of a infection. If your Cs did not give you a write up Obtain One! girl to be on the safe side. You also hould be on a Good pain pil write up as well. This helps Alot! also one mor thing it helps so much to sleep with pillows behind you Do not sleep on your chest.I did this aswell and it helped so much with the pain.~ the hard part is over~ if you have any q's let me know 5mos. post op.....
Hi Thanks so much. After the first 2 days, the pain was at least tolerable but still excruciating when I wear the band. The right implant is so high up and when the band pushes on it, it literally brings me to my knees to have it on. I have been on some strong pain meds and already have a high tolerance for pain. My cs just keeps saying it will take 3 to 6 months even a year to drop. I can understand this... but with this much pain???? That doesn't seem normal. I will see her again on Monday and see what she says. I have seen her twice so far and she is aware of the right one so high up as far as placement and the pain I am experiencing with it. The left is just sore but nice and in perfect position. I started wearing an ace instead of the band as the band as I said brought me to my knees with pain on the right implant. I have been sleeping at a 45 degree angle with lots of pillows behind me. It's just all a lot more pain than I anticipated and the right one doesn't seem right imo..
