I'm in my mid-40s, Asian, and looking for treatment for dark spots/sunspots on my face. At the recommendation of my dermatologist, I got Picoway and Clear and Brilliant lasers a month and a half ago. After about 2 weeks, the results were spectacular--all brown spots were completely gone. However, after about a month, the 3 major brown spots came back and are just as bad as they were before. Would Cosmelan be a better solution for my Asian skin? I do not have melasma--just isolated brown spots.
Hi, I had cosmelan 4 weeks ago, I have noticed blackheads on my forehead, nose and cheeks since having the treatment. I have been applying the cosmelan 2 from around day 6 of treatment after my peeling stopped. I was applying it twice daily but was getting a lot of sensitivity so now applying it nightly. What could be causing the blackheads? Excess oil caused from over exfoliating? Thank you!
Hi, I am an Asian with a very oily, sensitive and acne prone skin. Can this peel break me out and cause permanent redness? Last year I had a laser procedure which involved the use of a numbing cream and my redness didnt fade for 6 months
I have active acne since 9 years of age. In my 20's, I did one round of Accutane. It did decrease the cystic acne. My skin is an oily combo. There is scarring from acne. I do Retina daily on my skin. Do hydroquinine over the counter 2% (did 4% with dermatologist two years ago). Priority is to reduce active acne, then melasma and finally improve my skin texture. Medical advice? Thanks in advance!
I had cosmelan peel 3 months ago and have seen a slight improvement. But the dark pigments are still there . Should I go for dermalan peel or cosmelan again ?i have had some left with my provider and not sure if it will help anymore . How about glutione injections will they help. Im not sure what caused my malasma but its been a year like this .I have used the after care following cosmelan peel religiously and use sun cream and hat . I had the peel in the hotter months but wore a hat/suncream
I am 64, Filipino. I have this brown spot on my left cheek, not too big but been bothering me for years. I used Musely for about 6 months two years ago but did not work for me. I used to have chemical peels at doctors' offices /did not have problem with it. I had microneedling, did not help with the brown spots. Recently, we moved to Houston and my skin is so dry. Not sure if it is the air or me just changing. I am using vitamin c, retinol, niacinamide, all from The Ordinary. Thanks.
