Cosmelan + Peeling Q&A

Im using cosmelan pack home. After one week Im still peeling and my face is to dry and thicker .

Hi, I had Cosmelan treament because of pigmentation patch on one side of my face.The pigmentation has become a bit lighter but still present even after 3 months of treatment. And its still is peeling at that area where the patch is there. Is it normal? I am currently using C2 at night for maintainance.

My face is red, sore, peeling/flaky and still stings whenever I apply the Cosmelan2 cream or hydra vital cream or sunscreen. Anything at all, even the face wash stings. It's been 3 weeks since the mask, perimeter of my face darker than the insides. Is there anything I can apply on my face to sooth the burning? Thanks. Mimie

I have done cosmelon peel 5 days back. My skin peeled and became very dark. Will it come to original colour? And from when should I apply cosmelon 2 cream?

as said above, my face cleared up and looked pretty good around 6-8 days after cosmelan 1 but my dermatologist told me to apply cosmelan 2 one week after the initial treatment (to be applied bedtime only on Tu,Th,Sat,Sun since she prescribed differin to be applied the other days). now my face is peeling again (around the chin & nose/smile lines). will it peel for as long as i use cosmelan 2? also, do i avoid putting cosmelan 2 on the peeling/reddish parts of my skin or is it perfectly safe?

i first got the cosmelan 1 treatment with my dermatologist; the peeling stopped after a week and my skin looked pretty good. however, she prescribed me to use c2 1 week after the initial treatment so now, my skin is peeling again. she told me to use it every other night (tues, thurs, sat, sun) but im wary of applying it on the pink-ish/sunburnt-looking peeling parts of my face. is it safe? or can i just wait for the peeling to stop before apply again? or maybe just avoid putting on those areas?

Cosmelan 2 causes redness and peeling. We are adviced to continue cosmelan 2 even when there is active peeling. 

I had the c1 mask done and after all the peeling my skin looked great then my doctor said I have to follow up with the use of the C2 cream and I did use it one night and since the next day my skin won't stop peeling. I reused it few days back and my skin is still peeling and not stopping. It's been 2 weeks .. When will this stop.. I miss my skin !!!

5 days after my cosmelan peel I have light patches. I don't know if I should continue use of cosmelan 2. I use a moisturizing spf50+ and aqueous cream when I feel my face is dry. My face feels smooth. I didn't use the hydra-k factor cream because I was reacting to it. I'm loving the texture but not the color. I am still peeling in some areas of my face. Is this normal discoloration/hypopigmentation normal? Do I discontinue use?
