I have these melasma areas under my eyes and above the lip. They became visible after 6 Sylfirm X procedures I had for acne scars that ended Nov 2022. I have some remaining acne scars in one cheek. Will Co2 help or is Pico or other laser better? I also had taken progesterone treatment. The melasma is not well defined in shape, it is diffused. I am wearing spf 50+ for years now, all year long, and reapply correctly. Also I have some small hiperpigmented spots from acne on my cheeks.
I did laser co2 resurfacing 2 years ago in march 2017.the redness took timz to desappear and unfortunately become brown with sun. I was never told that the downtime of laser and strict sun avoidance would take more than 1 month. So after two months i was not tha diligent in putting the sunscreen, the redness in the cheeks become brown and now after 2 years o still have them. I regret the laser as i never thought it would be that risky. Is there any chance to remove these spots. Here are my photo.
Can it be possible my skin has been damaged? Or maybe im still healing? Is it unsafe to Dot below the eye? I was told it would be great for my skin. It is like patches of flesh color dots
Hi, I got CO2 laser done yesterday. My physician said I would only need one treatment and she gave a cream and an ointment to put on the area that has been treated by CO2 laser to get rid of beauty spots and a chickenpox scar on my nose. However, Im a bit sceptical as Im not sure if my mole and chickenpox scar would vanish. Will it come off with the scabbing? Also, Im completely avoiding sun.. is there still a chance of hyperpigmentation as I have asian skin tone. I havent seen the area.
62 yr old. Recovering from full face lift eye and eyebrow lift. Had one Co2 laser treatment done a month ago. Peeled normally, but the redness didn't go away. Iced, Aquaphor, vinegar baths. Sides of my face have marks where the laser went, lighter spots on my chin and a few areas where the skin rubbed then bled. Have areas where blood spot has dried but afraid to do anything to it except alcohol. Dr. prescribed a steroid cream, which took redness away some. Looked like I went through a car windshield.
I sometimes have a hypopigmentation reaction to trauma on the skin, i.e. as in sun damage and scars that turn white after surgery. I have some of these hypopigmentation spots on my neck and chest. My question is, could co2 laser resurfacing help remove these? Or could it cause more hypopigmentation spots?
Hi I Was Wondering if Any Dermatologists Have Been Successful with the Removal of Fordyce Spots of the Penis? I've heard they return after treatment. Has anyone successfully treated and managed to keep the fordyce spots from returning on the penis and/or lips?
