Hello, I received a Co2 laser treatment 7 months ago on my face. About 3 months in I realized the rough texture isnt going away. I have weird holes and lines that werent there before, mostly under my eye. I went back to the provider around month 4 and she said it was mila (there were maybe 1 or 2 mila but nothing crazy) and said it takes 6 months to heal. Here we are at 7 months and the texture hasnt improved at all. Is this permanent? Could it be scarring?
What is the most effective way to make skin soft and normal, after long-term bad texture changes from eC02 fractional laser? Specifically for skin has a rough, bumpy, and almost sandpaper like appearance not there before the laser, but definitely there after. Does not look like milia, just bad rough coarse texture. Thanks.
My doctor suggested the CO2 laser for smoothing the skin. He is very progressive and likes to experiment but I don't want to experiment with my face! I think CO2 would ruin my skin even more, since it is always red and tends to get redder often. I'm specifically asking about smoothing the rough skin. Frexel Repair seems very aggressive, as well. Any other option? For the redness, I tried Vbeam, Excel and they don't help much (I did more than 15 laser treatments!). What other laser could I try?
I got a CO2 laser treatment done 13 days ago. Initially, my skin was smooth but red. However, the skin on my cheeks has become rough and bumpy. It is only visible when up close, but each little dot before has turned into a tiny raised bump. Similar to a rash, but not itchy or red. In addition, my nose just peels and flakes continually. I assume that my skin is healing and might just be very dry. Should I be concerned or is there anything I can do to speed up the process? Is this normal?
