I have undergone 5 fractional CO2 laser procedures so far with each requiring 5-6 days downtime recovery period. Lo and behold I am only able to witness a 10 percent improvement as opposed to the 80 percent promised by my doctor. My pitted scarrings are still very very visible and I need advice on what to turn to next if i do not wish to continue with temporary fillers. I am Asian and prone to hyperpigmentation with a mixture of ice pick and rolling scars.
I am 44 years old I would like to know if I would be a good candidate for either Co2 Laser or another type of laser with less down time or surgery for the loose skin under my eyes and eyelids.. I don't have much loose skin on my eyelids when I lift my brows up. I am a little scared of the downtime of the Co2 Laser are there any other lasers less invasive but with good skin tightening results for upper and lower eyelid area?
I am 34 year old man. I am looking to get full laser C02 resurfacing on my face for *moderate* acne scaring, light wrinkles, discoloration, and overall rejuvenation. I want the absolute strongest, most effective, gold standard laser treatment on the market and downtime is of no concern as I get laid off in the winter. The problem I am having is the differences in Doctors, the technology offered, and their opinions about treatment. It's so bad I literally have *TWO* resurfacings scheduled next month
I am looking at getting ablative CO2 laser treatments on scarring I had from acne when I was a teen. I've done a bit of research and it seems like ablative CO2 might be my best bet, but I was wondering how much downtime am I looking at for recovery? I'm currently looking at doctors in the area offering such treatments and any information would be much appreciated.
I'm having C02 laser done just on upper and (mostly) lower eyes for crow's feet and fine lines. Will I need two weeks before I can go anywhere without looking bad? Other messages I saw said peeling doesn't start for 3-4 days and takes 7-10. I didn't realize there would be that much down time. I'm getting nervous and considering canceling it.
I did fractional laser CO2 on my face , I have a very sensitive skin . It is still red , iching and bit burning . I only use cicabio cream for bioderma . Today is the 3 rd day . How long I need to go down and back to life routine ? Do I need to take any anti-histaminique or anti inflammatory?
I had horrible sun and acne damage on my face. I went and got a Fractora treatment. It's much like the Fraxel facial. It was so painful and quite a bit of downtime and I would prefer to not do it again. I was researching the vampire facial to try next. Which facial would I see better results with to get rid of the sundamage and uneven skin tone?
Doctors, can someone tell me the difference between the two lasers in terms of result, number of tx required, collagen remodelling capability, etc? I understand that picosure has zero to minimal downtime and does not use heat energy. Are both lasers equal in terms of end result? Will lets say 3 pico is equally the same with 3 fractional co2? Or if one of the laser yeilds faster results in days/weeks/months?
