I got a chin implant removed 6 months ago, I only had the implant for a year, but my mandible muscles are causing tension.I got a rhinoplasty surgery about a year ago, the surgeon recommended getting a chin implant due to my facial structure. A few months after, I ended up getting so many issues. My mouth hurt, I couldn't smile, the implant irritated my skin, and I got a lot of pimples on my chin. I had to find another doctor to remove it. However, my chin isn't the same. I have a small visible pocket, and when I speak, I can feel my muscles causing tension. What can I do to make my chin feel better?
I had a chin implant done 4 years ago. Lately I've been experiencing a lot of pain in my chin and teeth area. Based on CT, this is likely a result of the chin implant placed too high up, now touching some nerves or teeth roots. Is it safe to have a chin implant revision to place an implant at the right place? or do I have to remove it completely to let the area heal? I would like to still have an implant but I am in pain, not sure if I can have a revision or just a removal.
Chin Implant Sizing/Removal. Wondering what would be considered a large silicone chin implant? I have a large EAC (6mm anterior projection), but have also seen size small MPJC or Flowers implants also have 6 mms of projection. Have any doctors here removed chin implants of that projection and how often do they see complications? In specifically young patients.
I had a chin implant surgery done like almost a year ago. The doctor said the tissues will grow into the implant but it's without the screws. So I got it done, it all went well. But the problem is I don't like how it looks on me now. It's too wide for me and makes my face too big and manly. I want to get it removed. I'm just scared of the complications cuz my parents are really scared something could happen and they didn't allow this in the first place...

Now my chin looks so huge, nothing like before. Its also uneven (especially the contour of the chin) and have white lumps. 1was it bad to do chin Lipo with the implant removal ?2. how long is the swelling last (after how much weeks is the swelling to 90%done?) 3. is it possible my chin will look
I 20(f) got a small chin implant on June 20th Now as it gets to three months I see results im not the fondest of and pain in the right wing of the implant. I planned on getting it removed September 19th, however the following three days after I have college orientation and less than a week later start college. Should I get it removed asap even with how busy I am? Or wait until winter break, which would put me at 6 months post op. Would those extra 3 months with the implant pose a ptosis risk?
I had a silicone implant removed that was about 10mm long. Ive got pretty intense dimpling on my chin when I close my mouth. I also think my mentalis nerve is messed up. My chin isnt numb but the sensation is different in my lower lip, chin, and lower gums. Is it a big risk if I get another smaller implant to give me back some projection and smooth out the dimples on my chin? Im worried Ill do more damage to my mentalis nerve, make the muscles in this area weaker & not fix the dimples.
