28 year old female. Always had an uneven lower face but seems to be getting worse. I feel like it looks as if Im storing something in one of my cheeks like a chipmunk. I want it to match the other side. Is there anything that can be done?
I had fat transfer to my cheeks as tear troughs and it didn't work for my tear troughs but it made my upper cheeks huge. Did the surgery back in 2020. Also did buccal fat pad. Can I do buccal fat pad removal again? How would you do the cheek lipo? Incision through the mouth or hairline? Need upper cheek fat removal please! My hollow tear troughs need a endoscopic cheek lift. Please be very thorough with your answers I need help.
Im in the process of losing 20kg (Currently at -8). With weight loss, I've noticed sagging in my face, mainly in nasolabial fold and jaw + worsening of eye bags. Im open to both surgery (lower blepharoplasty /miniface lift) but also treatments like HIFU, laser, microneedling (possible side effects with those?). Also, should I wait until weight loss goal is reached before doing anything? Or can I go for treatments and reevaluate the need for surgery after?
I'm 28 yo and lately I noticed that my face suddenly started sagging. Ive experienced a lot of stress lately and noticed tension in my face and Ive been clenching my jaw a lot. I think my cheeks sagged, also my eyes became more sunken. My periorbital vein is also very visible. On photo I have weird line, it appears when I'm smiling. I should add that I work in cytostatic laboratory, so I wear mask with filter. What can I do? I looked completely different two weeks ago.
Im very interested in having a cheek / midface lift however due to previous eye surgery and negative vector, eye lid incisions would be a risk for me. I dont wish to undergo a full facelift as only mid face has any issue and id prefer to avoid even minor scars around the ears. Ive heard cheek lift can be performed though an incision in the mouth and temple. Is this common in Europe please as ive not seen it publicised in the UK and what is this procedure called please?
I understand a cheek lift doesn't impact any lifting effects to the outer eyes giving an upswept look. Is it possible for a surgeon to be able to do a slight modification when lifting the cheek through the temple area to also lift the outer eye area to accomplish a pulled upswept look and so my eyes don't appear to round as they are. I've been told I'm not a candidate for canthoplasty due to how round my eyes. But, can I do canthopexy instead with very round eyes?
I like how my face thinned out when I got around 28. Despite my haggard appearance I prefer it to the chipmunk look I had when I was younger. Due to this I want to avoid using filler to treat my nasolabial folds and other lines around the mouth. I also see slight jowling. Would a cheek lift be a good idea? A mini face lift? (Though I've read since mini facelifts don't address SMAS they don't last as long.) Maybe even a traditional facelift?
