Ive always had these pockets of fat, but theyve become more prominent over the years (Im 19). One doctor Ive consulted told me the only way he can fix them is to inject filler around the lumps to smooth it out, but Im afraid this will leave the bottom of my face looking larger. Are there any other ways?
I had buccal fat removal + chin and cheek lipo over a month ago in Mexico. The sides of my cheeks and my chin are super lumpy and hard. Ive done therapeutic ultrasound, lymphatic massage and muscle release massage with little difference. Is this permanent fibrosis? Is there anything else I could try? Thanks
I have an excess lump of facial fat on the right side of my face, next to my mouth (picture). It has become really noticeable and when I take pictures it creates a shadow that almost looks like I have a mustache! I want to know if I can remove this fat with injectables or with some other non-invasive method?
I had surgery last Wednesday and have experienced swelling as well as a hardened lump of what I assume to be fluid in my left cheek. My doctor told me to massage it, with increasing pressure as time passes, and that it should start to go down in a few weeks (with the rest of the swelling). Is this something that would require drainage, or is massaging adequate to eliminate the hard lump?
I got my buccal fat done on january 12th and still to this date there are still hard lumps on the incision site to the right. It's not massively painful but when i press on it, it's just obvious it hasn't healed yet like a very minor pain you get when a wound is healing. Why's it taking so long to heal up? My other side there is still the lump at the incision but I can still tell a difference from before whereas right side it's just not healing up to well
I am 3 months post op today. I still have lumps on the inside of my mouth. No pain. No bleeding. One lump is bigger than the other. Should I be worried? Is this scar tissue? Should I wait a month before getting steroid injections?
The buccal fat pad on my left cheek was a little stubborn to find at first but besides that the procedure went well. The Dr stated that my left cheek would swell up more than the right because of that. After the fifth day I started to notice a tight pressure like feeling on my left cheek. Dr said it was normal for the lump to occur and that I may have Hematoma but that I didnt need to get it drained. Its been 9 days now and the lump is still the same size but now instead of sticking out of my cheek, it is poking in words into my teeth and gums. Its still tender and now Im starting to feel a slight pain on my jaw line close to my tonsils. Im a little worried. Should I let it heal on its own or should I go to the E.R?
I got my buccal fat pad done 2 weeks ago & my right cheek is very slim almost no swelling, but my left cheek is still very swollen & it has a hard lump, I was told to massage the lump to make it go away, will the lump go away? Im afraid its scar tissue & my face will stay like this
