I went to a very reputable surgeon seven months ago and had a lateral brow lift and facial fat transfer. I had an enormous amount of swelling in the months after. In the past couple months, Ive developed wide, white scars and weird lumpiness near one temple. My surgeon had assured me that my scarring would be minimal (I had hairline lowering 8 years ago that left a tiny scar at my hairline), but this is obvious and unsightly. Is this normal and can it be improved?
I had an endoscopic brow lift about 6 weeks ago and I feel that my eyeshadow area has reduced in size. My eyes feel heavy in the morning however within an hour or two they do get a little better although still quite puffy looking. I would say my eyelashes touch my skin above my eyes. Could my eyes still be that swollen or would I need to consider upper eyelid surgery?
I am 4 wks post lower FL, upper bleph, and endo brow lift. Yesterday, I was working outside for several hours wearing a big SPF 50 hat. It was hot. After taking off my hat, I had an indentation from the brim. It was still there last night after 5-6 hrs, and I thought it was swelling from the heat, and it would be gone this AM. It is not. It is slightly better, but you can still see an indent. Did I mess something up, or is this just swelling? My entire face seems more swollen today.
Hi. I did a browlift a week ago. Now when most of the swelling are gone, I see that my eyes look really diffrent from each other. It looks to me that my lower eyelid on my right eye is stretched to much outwards, so my eye appears much smaller and narrower than my other eye. What did og wrong? Iis this normal? Could this be caused by a nerve damage? I am so afraid, dont know what to do. I have tryed to call my surgeon, but there is no answer. Pleace help me :(
I had an open Brow Lift, upper Eyelid Surgery, and Fraxel Laser under my eyes and on my cheeks. I am super swollen, my eyes two little slits. I am very depressed and did know I would swell this much. I look unrecognizable. How long till swelling goes down? I am worried my eyes won't look like me--like maybe they will be too hollow or something.
I have had pain, swelling and discomfort since my surgery one year ago. Doctor used 4.0 prolene sutures to pull the brow muscle up and then a prolene suture material at the incision site in the hairline. I have felt all year that I am just not healing as I have had consistent swelling, discomfort and pain. Still hurts to brush my finger over my forehead... Would it be appropriate to remove the sutures and suture material at this stage? Doc said it would be an in office procedure.
My brow lift was done 4 days ago, one eyebrow looks higher than the other, may this be due to swelling or are these the actual brow-lift results? when do the real results of a brow lift begin to show? or a the results shown immediately after? i'm a young 23 year old woman and my swelling is reducing significantly but the eyebrow seems to be in the same high place.
