I had a breast reduction in 2013 when I was 19. The surgeon didn't take equal amounts of tissue from both sides, and I still have back pain and bras don't fit me correctly. I think I've had some regrowth; at the time I'd recently been in the hospital and lost a lot of weight, so I think I was still gaining it back. I'm disabled, so the extra weight makes it difficult to stand and walk for long periods. Would a reduction from a C/D cup to a B be realistic?
After my surgery my breast were pretty symmetrical. Just revelry I notice that my left breast is significantly larger than my other. It is not tender but much bigger. I recelty had a Boil on my breast and wondering if that could have an effect. What should I do?
I am 2 years post op of getting my breast reduction surgery covered by my insurance. Less than a month after the surgery my skin started bleeding and the surgeon diagnosed me with wound dehiscence. It was treated and closed up but after letting them settle 6 months to 1 year later I also noticed that the shape was very uneven. I am also on a weight loss journey and worried about how my breast will look after. What can be done to improve my breast appearance after I reach my of losing 20-30 lbs?
Hi, Im 23 years old i have my breast reduction about almost 2 years ago.my healing process wasnt the best i had rashes and a rash that cause a hole on the right side of my boob that wasnt closing witch lead to a big scar.i have more fat on right side of my boob then the left my nipple are two different sizes And when i lean over you can see all the extra skin on my boobs make my nipples look weird
I am 6 weeks post op and I have one of my breast that are smaller than the other. I have let my PS know of this and they advised me to wait until 3 months then we can talk about revisions. I prefer the bigger breast than the smaller one. What you advise to be done in this case? Implants? Fat transfer? I do not want lipo from the bigger side as I like that size much more than the smaller one. What causes the breast to be asymmetrical?
So I am 2 days Post-Op from breast reduction surgery and am noticing my right breast is significantly larger than the other. I am concerned because the doctor ended up taking out more from my left side because he thought it was larger, now the right looks much larger. Is this normal? I am right handed, not sure if this makes a difference.
I am 2.5 weeks post-op of an OHIP-covered breast reduction. My nurse removed about 80% of my staples (vertical incision and under breast) last Saturday and the rest (around the nipples) on Monday. Im concerned that my right breast looks like it has a strange indentation under the nipple and looks lumpy compared to my left breast. Will this even out? Should I be concerned? I sent pics to my dr and he seems to say its healing fine, but Im feeling very concerned.
I am 9 days post op (BR), and I have almost no pain in my right side but some shooting pains & an achey feeling in my left side. Is this something to be concerned about? My surgeon also mentioned that I should keep centering my nipples by pulling my breast gently inside my bra and making sure theyre central. I have noticed that my left nipple is slightly off centre which I assume is why shes told me to do this. Is this normal? And is it actually possible for the nipple to change position now?
