5 yrs ago I had a mastopexy w/ a 300cc implant placement after. I was a DD. 6 mo. ago, I decided to get a breast reduction but chose to keep my implants to retain that upper fullness. I immediately noticed post op that there was the appearance of a double bubble bs bad swelling. I had a Feeling it was my implants not swelling. The implants were not touched or moved during the reduction. Was the lift too high and that is where my Implants were always sitting? Or did they slip down from swelli
I had a breast reduction 10 days ago and am feeling great. I was a 34G and suffered from back pain, headaches, carpal tunnel, the works. It has been a great relief to have the surgery done. That aside, how long should I feel swollen in my sides? I went to get measured for a sports bra to swap out with the surgical, and was measured at a 38D, when the doctor was aiming for a C. My guess is that I am super swollen, so just curious when I can expect this to subside.
I had a breast reduction in February this year and had about 300-400 gram removed in total. However, my breast feel bigger and quite sore (I havent gained weight either), so Im wondering if I could be experiencing swelling from periods/ovulation a lot more severely compared to before? Thank you in advance!
I had a breast reduction two weeks ago. I started at a 32F, and my doctor and I agreed that "around" a small C-cup would be better for my petite, athletic frame. I have had an excellent recovery so far; however, my breasts are still big for my size. I can even fit into a DD-cup bra. I'm a bit nervous that I will have gone through a major surgery and still have over-sized breasts. Even though my breast size hasn't decreased much since the day after surgery, could they are still swollen? If not, can this be corrected without undergoing extensive surgery again?
Hello. I am 17 days Breast Reduction Post-op. Of course I'm still swollen and have discomfort. I have edema in both breast and have sharp shooting pains several times a day. Also, my right breast seems to have NON oozing puss. My Dr.said it could be puss or even breast tissue poking out due to split stitches. He also said not to massage yet or ice my breast. I keep the incisions clean & use pure vitamin E oil daily per surgeons instructions any suggestions?
I am not comfortable submitting pictures so I am not including them, however I was wondering if it is normal to have a bump with slight bruising 6 months out of surgery. The bump is about 4 inches long and the bruising is quite yellow toward the bottom. Is this swelling, a clump of fat, or could it be something abnormal? Ive heard swelling may not diminish for up to a year, but in before and after pictures Ive never seen a bump underneath the armpit.
Hello! I am currently four days post op and went from a 34H to a 34C (hopefully after swelling). I am healing (painwise) very nicely and alternate prescribed anti-inflammatories every three hours. I have noticed, though, that the area under my arm/on my side is hard/stiff and sore when touched (I also put ice on them). They seem to be enlarged as well, as if my breasts extends to my side. Is this normal/swelling that will go down with time, or should I see my surgeon?
Hello, 19 days ago I've done breast reduction and lift (I had a C+ and asked 40% less, which doctor said he did). The problem is that my left breast is twice as swollen as the right one. Surgeon says it is a hematoma and I should just wait for it to go. Could you please tell me if this is normal? how long to wait? what if doesn't go away? thank you.
I have 3 questions! I'm 20 days post Op (Breast Reduction), I was wondering if it is too early to start massaging my scars with creams? My second question is how long would it take for the swelling to go down? And my third question is if there's any chance for my breast to further reduce in size? Sorry for too many questions! Many Thanks in advance
