I had a breast reduction just over a month ago, and around 2 weeks post op I noticed a small break in the incision, this has now opened up even more to over an inch, and is very painful. I know this is a common complication, but the fact that it keeps splitting even more is worrisome, and I would like it to stop as this is already making my scars way worse (I am only 20 yrs old). Please tell me how I can stop it from splitting even more!!!
I had a breast reduction 15 days ago. Now I am still bleeding and one side is weeping. When I walk I feel like I am been split in two across where my cleavage was. Should I be concerned. I am due back to work but still very uncomfortable. Everything I have read seems to be recovered in 2 weeks with no pain! Thanks
I had breast reduction 3 weeks ago & scar has split. I'm concerned about infection & healing. There is small amount of smelly reddish weeping involved as well. Right breast healed completely-not T-zone. Thank you,
I have had my BR 9 weeks earlier,so far I've recovered nicely;however, 3 days ago I noticed something wrong with my right breast. The problem spot has now split open and my under-stitch is visible. My surgeon suggested I use Betaisodone cream for about 2 days until it closes, but 1 day in it doesn't display any change. Also my other breast started to have tiny problem spots-one of them feels like paper-cut where the incision was and is red. What is the best course of action in your experience?
I'm exactly 3wks post BR. 36GG to a D cup. My incisions were closed until tonight. After a bath I noticed a hole with butter-like fluid draining once I put a little pressure on. I then had some white discharge. Not sore, no redness, no temperature and it didn't smell. Have cleaned with alcohol wipe and will apply a gauze under bra. Is it a suture?! How long before it heals?
Hey. I had a breast reduction 5 weeks ago and I have had a slight split were the T cut is! At first it was abit gammy but now it's just open and can see a bit of flesh. I have been cleaning with savlon spray and been putting soft gauze on it. But it's keeping it damp! Injury want it to dry up
