Hi. I have asked my provider about this. However I would also like the views and experiences of other doctors re my incisions. It started with a scab and now at around 17 days after surgery there is separation and white tissue. I had a hematoma on left breast although it seems to be the right that has more of an issue at t junction. I have just started antibiotics and antibiotic cream. Are they healing ok? Will incision get worse before better
I am in Bactrum for the infection but unless I do not wear clothes and don't really move, it continues to open up. I was not really instructed on what to do besides take the antibiotics. I am frustrated with my surgeon and my primary doctor. Maybe I am not asking the right questions? Please help with advice, thank you. 38 yrs old...they took 2.2lbs total it has been almost 3 wks since the surgery
I had a breast reduction 2 weeks ago Monday and I have had separation in 3 areas. My ps is out of town and the on call or says he would like me to discontinue using the xerofoam and a&d. He wants me to start just costing the area with Betadine. Does that sounds right?????
I noticed some small wound separation at the T junctions of both breasts, the right more than the left. I am putting bacitracin on the area per instructions before I noticed separation. Ive seen much worse pictures of separation on here so I am wondering if my separation is bad enough that I should make an appointment with my plastic surgeon to have it looked at it soon, instead of waiting for my six week post-op appointment which is already scheduled.
Few day ago, during my one week consultation, my surgeon told me to examine my breasts for possible inflammations, tears or separations. Low T connection is being most likely to misbehave. I didn't clarify then, but what is the best way to prevent T-junction separation? Also my low T connection is in the skin fold, not as exposed as the most I see on this site. Any additional advise for that? Thank you!
Just had breast reduction surgery 3 weeks ago, noticed these two openings 2 days ago. I saw my PS and he told me to wash it and cover it with a bandaid, and it should heal on its own. My question is rhoug, what is the black spot on the opening at the bottom of my breast?
I have very large breasts, size 32 J, and I have significant pain in my right shoulder that feels like my arm is slowly being pulled off. I do not play sports and have no recent falls or injuries. I have deep intentions in both my shoulders from my bra straps digging into them due to the weight of my breasts. Please help?
Does this looks infected or is it just wound seperation? I saw my PS and he put me on antibiotics 4 days ago. It looks a little worse to me since then and I'm getting nervous because of the pink area. I go back tomorrow to get checked again but I am just curious what other doctors think. My instructions were just to take my antibiotics and shower normally and then put a clean dry dressing on. How long does an area like this normally take to close?
