I got my procedure done on January 20th and since then my right breast has been giving me the most trouble. The left one feels mostly normal but the right one its gets sore and numb all around except for my nipple, is this normal? It feels so uncomfortable that I dont even sleep on my right side
I had a breast reduction about 2 weeks.my breast have been feeling very uncomfortable and itchy theyre very red and warm to the touch. Also a section in my left breast is completely numb so are my nipples.i went in for my 1 week check up, my plastic surgeon didnt even see me, they had their assistant take me in and they said everything looks fine and that its normal for them to be like this. It doesnt really look normal to me, Im just worried that there could be an infection or something?
Almost 6 weeks. I have these huge fluid filled knots under the left breast. I still have a light, clear fluid that oozes on both sides, I still have severe, sharp pains in both arms with numbness in thumb and forefinger. My surgery was five or take 12 and 1/2 hours. I went from an I cup to a D cup. It still feels extremely tight on both sides. Cant even sleep in my bed yet. Is any of this ok? Ive only seen my surgeon once but keep seeming his APN. Getting fed up. Can someone help me?
I have a 34 band size and i'm a K cup. I'm in so much pain, I can't breathe or sleep properly, my chest is numb, can't sit up straight or move right, I can't participate in life. Insurance didn't give a reason. The surgeon said she'd take around three pounds from each boob, so that meets the removal requirements - they've also rejected all my appeals without a reason. We have Anthem BCBS. I can't pay the 30k out of pocket - that's a whole year of college tuition, but I need this. Thank you
I had a breast reduction in March of 2014, a little over a year ago. I immediately noticed that my scars were thick and ugly. I was told that they looked normal and would decrease over the next year by my surgeon. As you can see, I still have very significantly thick scars, numbness in one nipple and breast, and partial numbness under my arms. I don't expect sensation to come back, but can my scars be improved? What caused this?
Had breast reduction a month ago. Everything seems fine but I am numb on the bottom of my left arm (tricep area) , armpit, and the left side if my breast. I saw my doctor today and he asked if that was the side the blood pressure cuff was on. I couldn't remember. He said hopefully the feeling would come back. I am concerned that something went wrong and I am not really feeling reassured that things were going to get better. Is this normal? Do I have a nerve issue now? Thank you.
I was wondering how likely it would be for insurance to cover a breast reduction for me. I'm 5'6, 135 pounds, and a 32g. I have chronic back and neck pain. Where my back and neck connect will frequently go numb if I am standing for long periods of time. Also, if insurance were to cover a breast reduction, how much would the doctor be required to remove. Ideally, I'd like to be a full C cup. Who's this be possible?
I'm 8 weeks post-op after breast reduction surgery. I am extremely happy with my results. However, my areolas have become very itchy and at times flaky. Is it normal at this stage or could it be from the sweat from my workouts? Also, one areola almost feels numb. Should I be worried?
I'm 5 days post op and seem to be healing well. I had drains for the first 3 days but they were removed at my post op appointment. I've recently noticed that my armpit and underarm (down to about midway to my elbow) is completely numb. I can't feel anything when I touch it. This is the case on BOTH ARMS It's making mobility of my shoulders difficult. What could this be?
