I'm 62 years old and had a reduction and implants added for fullness about 2 years ago. I have noticed lately that the areola skin seems thin and one of my breasts appear to be changing shape slightly, especially in the areola area. My husband loves to suck on my breasts during foreplay and I'm wondering if this could be part of the reason. Is there anything that can be done?
I ve been put on Daily Rovustatin 5mg and Aspirin 75mg as told I have high cholesterol. Im 57 of very slim build, very fit and active. In fact I havent had salt, sugar for over 30 yrs. However I do have large bust which I hate. Im in a position now where I can afford to pay for cosmetic procedures but I read that a breast reduction is not possible if on statins or aspirin! Im gutted surely many women with high cholesterol still have these procedures?
Ive had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders with one being unsuccessful/irreparable. Over the past couple of years wearing any type of bra is causing serious pain- primary doctor recommended a Breast Reduction. I m a 38 D, med. frame-5'8, 155 lbs, 57yrs with dense breasts. BCBS should cover the procedure but requires 500g+ per breast be removed. For pain Id like to go as small/light as possible for my build (B cup?) Is 500g too much to achieve this and still look proportional?
Im a 60 year old female. 65 tall 230# after losing almost 100#. I have considerable neck and shoulder discomfort especially when I wear a bra. Ive plateaued with my weight loss and know if I increase my activity level Id break thru. I just cannot tolerate the discomfort to my neck and shoulders after my work day. Would I be a candidate for a breast reduction even at this weight? Would insurance cover part of the costs? Also, could I undergo an arm lift at the same time?
I had a recent consultation. The surgeon indicated he might need to to cut the nipples off and then reattach during reduction. He said with with larger breasts reducing to smaller, it's common for him to cut the nipple off to lessen blood supply issues. I am concerned about that I'm an H and would like to be a small D. Should I be concerned? I really don't love the idea of losing all sensation and just having a grafted non-sensate nipple. I am 58, 175, 5'8 & active
58 yo. Poor skin elasticity at this point from combo of sun and weight fluctuations. About 30 lbs overweight now. Just recently gained 30 lbs (of 50 lbs lost 14ys ago). At optimum wt., my breasts are a B cup, but sagging. Don't think I'll be able to control my weight as well as I did before. I might be able to lose 15 lbs, but my breasts will still be a C-cup, with more loose skin, and I want a be a B-cup. Suggestions?
I am scheduled to have surgery next week for breast reduction and flying to Florida for that . I got my clearence from my primary doctor but yesterday they checked my pulse and made me wear something on my chest for 24 hours which they told me I might have heart arrhythmia. When I got clearence last week everything was ok with me . I cant cancel surgery because Im flying out and paid already . Is it dangerous for me and if so , what are the risks? Im 56 years old .
I'm 61 years old a 44 DD and my breasts are very saggy. My back and neck hurt, but not all the time. My biggest problem is when it is spring and summer I develop a rash under my breast that is painful and hard to get rid of.
