I would like to know if a breast reduction and/or lift would help my issues. My right breast is larger than my left. As I've aged and breastfed, I've had more sagging. At 50, I would like to be able to wear a normal bra or even go without sometimes. I work out every day and I'm tired of bouncing around or my arms hitting my breasts when I walk or jog. I am 5'2 and 118 pounds. My weight is stable and I'm in good health. My measurements are 33 inches around my fullest and 28 around my rib cage.
Hi, I am 46 years old, 5'6, 114 lbs, 34D. I had a consult today for a lift and he suggested an implant because I want top fullness. My hesitation has always been getting implants because I already have large breasts. Is a breast reduction with implants (to get top roundness) a common procedure and is this typically done in two stages? I didn't think to ask the consult doc about this earlier today. Thanks so much
Hello! I'm a 5'7 142 lb 52 y/o peri-meno woman, I had a breast reduction at age 29. At the time, my breasts were a very heavy and pendular 36DD/DDD. I was reduced to a large C/small D. The Dr. apparently did largely a lift + a small reduction (more skin than tissue removal). And I was happy! Now, (after proper fittings) I wear a 32/34 F. And I'm back to shoulder pain, neck pain, etc. But I'm also amidst severe hot flashes, fighting meno weight, etc. Should I wait?
Hi I am 50yrs old had a breast reduction 8mos. ago and I have developed itchy nipples and very tender breast tissue, my right more than left. Developed infecation 3 days after surgery in left breast. Dr said oh it's nothing, 6weeks later she said it was total infected. Had to have an emergancy deburrment surgery.
Currently I'm 45 (no kids, don't plan on any). Since a long time now dealing with neck/shoulder pain and feeling restricted in my breathing due to the weight of the breasts pressing on my ribs, I want to either have them completely gone (best option) or want them to be reduced to a tiny and flat size (No more than 34 A; currently I'm 34D/DD ). Please let me know which one is the best option, what would the procedure be, recovery times and costs? Please help, I need them gone.
I'm 52, DX 4.6 years ago with denovo MBC and have been stable for 4 of those years. My treatment has made me gain weight so my already large breasts are becoming enormous. Is this kind of surgery risky? I've had numerous other surgeries since Dx (partial thyroidectomy, rod in femur, and De Quervain wrist) and haven't had any issues, but I'm not finding much research on this topic. Thanks

Hello , I am a 47 year old African American woman. 6'0 ft. tall ..240 pounds and I have very long sagging breasts that's causing pains throughout my upper body ..like my neck my back and my chest..My breast are a size 44 DDD, I have had a few consultations with the surgeon saying I am a perfect candidate for the procedure, the problem is insurance won't cover it saying that for medical purposes they'd need to remove more tissue than the surgeon recommended.what do I do now?
Hello, I had a breast lift at 30 years old in 2005: only a lift/ no implants and no breast tissue removal. Here we are 16 years later and I am scheduled for a breast reduction and lift. My surgeon from 2005 has retired and my records were destroyed in 2014. My new surgeon indicates that he will need to be conservative in his approach without know which blood vessels were tampered with. And could increase chance of nipple necrosis. Please advise of things to consider in my situation. TYVM
