I had a breast reduction 6 months ago, I'm extremely happy with the results. However, I have noticed that I have developed 4 small skin tags at intervals, about 5mm under the lower breast scars, on my normal skin. I have been using silicone gel on my scars, could this have caused these skin tags to develop? Any other ideas? Just seems odd that I have four all just under the scar line. Thanks for any advice.
Please help! This is my second breast reduction. I had my first 10 years ago and 6 months ago. I included an implant this time around. A couple of weeks after surgery i got a severe infection which took over a month to get rid of and left a huge scar. My question: i am now noticing one areola is red and lumpy and chipping away at the brown getting closer to the nipple. I have been treated by led light for the scarring and was wondering if its causing this or is it something that will go?
Im 6 months out and my scars are very red and raised. They started to look worse as opposed to better around 3 months. I dont have itching but experience sharp short pain in them sometimes. Ive spoke only to the nurse at my surgeons office and was recommended MEPITAC tape, should I be doing anything else are these keloid or going to get worse?
I heard that 6 months after a breast reduction is when the breast fully drops. I was wondering if my breast will continue to drop and look somewhat more symmetrical once its been a year. The difference just seems too drastic. Its really frustrating I was really looking forward to having more symmetrical breasts and I look almost as bad as I did before if Im stuck like this.
5 yrs ago I had a mastopexy w/ a 300cc implant placement after. I was a DD. 6 mo. ago, I decided to get a breast reduction but chose to keep my implants to retain that upper fullness. I immediately noticed post op that there was the appearance of a double bubble bs bad swelling. I had a Feeling it was my implants not swelling. The implants were not touched or moved during the reduction. Was the lift too high and that is where my Implants were always sitting? Or did they slip down from swelli
I had a breast reduction in February this year and had about 300-400 gram removed in total. However, my breast feel bigger and quite sore (I havent gained weight either), so Im wondering if I could be experiencing swelling from periods/ovulation a lot more severely compared to before? I am 1 week away from being 6mpo from my breast reduction surgery. Everything at first was going great but then at about 1mpo i started to develop an indent on one of my breasts. My surgeon said it would go away. I saw him at my 4mpo appt where he told me it wouldn't go away and that it was because the breast tissue ended there and the rest was fat, the indent makes that breast look way smaller and i have two big side boobs now. One breast is also still square and has not rounded out at all
Im 6 months post op and recently noticed a red spot directly on my incision near my nipple (I had a reduction with lift no implants) and I didnt know if its something that looks concerning or maybe its a pimple (there isnt a visible head if it was a pimple). Its about the size of a quarter, and doesnt hurt to the touch unless you put firm pressure on it, but even then its very mild.
