If so how do I relieve it or when will it go away? I recently had a breast reduction about 3 weeks ago and its been healing well until a few days ago I developed a pain on the sides of my ribs particularly the right one. Its sore to the touch and kind of restricts my movement. Im kind of concerned because I was hoping to get back to running in the gym soon.
My surgery was 2.5 weeks ago. I was instructed to use paper tape over my vertical incision. I have a lollipop reduction. I had the paper tape on for the last week and removed it yesterday to clean and change it. I felt a sharp stitch poking through the incision on the second two pics. I also noticed a small hole forming on the first two pics. I phone the office and they said ps was away until Monday next week. I have to wait. Does this look like immediate attention is needed or can it wait?
On April 29 (3 weeks post op), I woke up feeling nauseous and immediately had to make a bowel movement (twice). My breasts felt fine but, I noticed a smell that was not there. Throughout the day I was freezing but apparently the house was warm, and still nauseous with stomach pain. I waited to see if I would be fine, but the next day there is still an odor and later on I began to feel nauseous again with a headache. I also started my menstrual cycle so I dont know if it is because of that.
I have 3 questions! I'm 20 days post Op (Breast Reduction), I was wondering if it is too early to start massaging my scars with creams? My second question is how long would it take for the swelling to go down? And my third question is if there's any chance for my breast to further reduce in size? Sorry for too many questions! I had my BR on 8/24/15 so I'm approx 3 weeks post-op...my surgeon recommended me to tape the incisions to aid with healing and scarring. He also used skin glue to reinforce the stitches, when can I expect for the skin glue to come off..everything is so itchy and scabby. I just want to feel normal again! :)
Help! I am so frustrated. I am 3 1/2 weeks out from breast reductions with TT and had kept it taped like I was told and then noticed yesterday that the right incision has opened. My dr says to just keep it clean and dry. I would like a second opinion. This is the second area that has not healed properly. Why is this happening?
Im about 3 weeks post op, breast reduction and lift from a 38G to around a C/D, and I just wanted to make sure everything looks normal. Ive been putting a triple antibiotic ointment on the incision areas and setting a gauze pad on top under my bra (thats the weird square marks). My surgeon and I have talked about the possible necrosis on the left areola and he says everything else is looking normal Im just paranoid and wanting to double check.
I recently got a breast reduction about 3 weeks ago and things have not been going well for me. I just want to know after breast reduction surgery are they supposed to put steri strips around the nipple incision as well? because my doctor only used gauze
the guaze sticks to my healing skin every time and removes the skin . right now the skin is raw and its not healing properly. What can I do? Its 3 weeks post Op. I was told by a surgeon to use a Net moisture bandage that wont stick to it- One have given me a honey coated Net Tulle to apply directly on the area and then cover with guaze.
