Hello , I am a 47 year old African American woman. 6'0 ft. tall ..240 pounds and I have very long sagging breasts that's causing pains throughout my upper body ..like my neck my back and my chest..My breast are a size 44 DDD, I have had a few consultations with the surgeon saying I am a perfect candidate for the procedure, the problem is insurance won't cover it saying that for medical purposes they'd need to remove more tissue than the surgeon recommended.what do I do now?
I have quite a big chest, when I first went to a doctor about it I was probably around 13-14 when the recommended breast reduction surgery later on rather than soon. I'm 5'1 and my current weight is 235 lbs. I've been experiencing on and off lower back pains and most recently some shoulder pain. and of course the chest size is also affecting me in a more mental state you could say, I always feel uncomfortable with my chest size and would really like to know the smallest I can go?
Back pain, neck pain bra straps digging into shoulders and rashes between my breast. That's what I deal with. I'm currently over weight at 230-240 I'm working on that now. My question is once I get to my goal weight of 175 is it possible for me to get to a low C bra size? And how much weight is recommended I lose before being considered for a reduction?
Im looking into get a breast reduction & Ive been doing research for 4 years now. Im 54 & my breast are a 42H in size. As well as my left breast being significantly bigger than my right breast & both breast drop down. My straps always dig into my skin. I also found out that I have PCOS 5 years ago which I feel like contributed to the size when I graduated high school when I was a size 38DD & 160lbs. Im now 54 & 245lbs. I would like to atleast be a nice full & round D or DD.
I am 5'6 240lbs size 16 pant. My insurance requires 1000 grams per breast removed for the procedure to be considered medically necessary. I wear a properly fitted 38H and have dense fibrocystic breast tissue. The measurements taken at my consultation indicate an FNG will not be necessary. I'm not worried about have breast proportionate to my over all size. I'd like more opinions on if 1000 grams is an attainable amount that will still leave me with a least a handful.
Age-21 Weight-230Lbs. Bra size-40H height-57 Hi so I started gaining a lot of weight around the time I was going into middle school and for years Ive had such bad back pain and breathing issues which has always made it hard to loose any weight even though I try to excercise and diet. Ive also seen specialists and had tests done and everything came up normal wil I be able to because of how much I weigh? And what size cup can I go down to?
Im a 60 year old female. 65 tall 230# after losing almost 100#. I have considerable neck and shoulder discomfort especially when I wear a bra. Ive plateaued with my weight loss and know if I increase my activity level Id break thru. I just cannot tolerate the discomfort to my neck and shoulders after my work day. Would I be a candidate for a breast reduction even at this weight? Would insurance cover part of the costs? Also, could I undergo an arm lift at the same time?
I am scheduled for my breast reduction surgery in less than a month. I am currently a 40DDD and I'm looking to go down to a large C. I am 18 years old and around 240lbs. My breasts are sitting on my stomach and they are heavily sagging. My plastic surgeon wants to do the surgery using the anchor incision, but will I be able to breastfeed in the future? He said that I would have trouble breastfeeding now anyway since my breasts are so big. Will this surgery affect that for me?
Hi there! I am curious about getting a breast reduction. I am at a 38H and would love to go down to a C if possible. I was hoping to get it done this summer (because of school, work, etc). Just curious if they would do the surgery if I have a 38 band. Would they make me lose weight first? If so I will try but I am just worried that having to lose weight will push back my time frame and I won't be able to do my surgery this summer. Any experience? 5'3'', 25 years old, 230lbs, 38H
