Im 2 weeks post op and one breast is larger than one. The right breast feels like there is fluid in there. It hurts just to talk. My doctor keeps saying the body needs time to heal but as the days goes on it hurts worse.
I had asymmetrical breasts so I had a breast reduction on just the bigger side. The nipple of the breast that was worked on is a lot higher. I read another post of someone who had a nipple placement that was too high after a breast reduction and the comments from surgeons said it usually stays that way. My surgeon told me breasts drop after breast reduction but does that not apply to the nipple? Im two weeks out of surgery but now Im worried I made a mistake. I just want to look normal :(
I am 12 days post op went from a G cup down to approx C/D cup. I seem to have a lot of excess skin that has form rope like scars, RN friends have said the sutures look sloppy. I also have dark purplish skin on the incision line (he said this is UNHEALTHY skin & just said to use antiobiotic ointment). Also I still have yellowish slightly greenish discharge from the left breast, none from the right but I do have red inflammation. Got antibiotic today over phone, Dr said come in 2 days.
I had my surgery on January the eighth and it is now the twenty first. My Surgeon said to cover all incisions with vaseline and gauze and Ive been doing that every night after I shower since surgery, but he didnt say for how long to do it for. I am having no drainage but Im wondering if its okay to stop the dressings now? Or should I keep doing it to keep everything moist. He said the Vaseline would aid the scars.
Hello. I am 17 days Breast Reduction Post-op. Of course I'm still swollen and have discomfort. I have edema in both breast and have sharp shooting pains several times a day. Also, my right breast seems to have NON oozing puss. My Dr.said it could be puss or even breast tissue poking out due to split stitches. He also said not to massage yet or ice my breast. I keep the incisions clean & use pure vitamin E oil daily per surgeons instructions any suggestions?
I had a breast reduction about 2 weeks.my breast have been feeling very uncomfortable and itchy theyre very red and warm to the touch. Also a section in my left breast is completely numb so are my nipples.i went in for my 1 week check up, my plastic surgeon didnt even see me, they had their assistant take me in and they said everything looks fine and that its normal for them to be like this. It doesnt really look normal to me, Im just worried that there could be an infection or something?
Hello, I just had a breast reduction surgery and want to exercise. At 2 weeks post op, is it OK to do light exercise? Like a workout dance video at home? Or a daily squats challenge? I don't like sitting idle not being able to exercise. Prior to my breast reduction I had lost about 35-40 lbs to get closer to my goal and I don't want to lose momentum. I have no leaking, no soreness, no pain, and a tad swelling still. Is it safe to do light workouts so soon?
I had a breast reduction June 4th and everything is healing up fine. My nipples are someheeys uneven and I have these folds or whatever they are on the side of my boobs. My doctor's PA told me I shouldnt worry that maybe my left boob dropped and my right boob hasn't dropped yet and is still swollen.Do I need a revision??
