57 year old, had DM w/reconstruction UTM implants. Due to severe animation and pains on one side I decided to go for revision surgery. The Surgeon that I met suggested to move the implants OTM. He inform me that he doesn't like to use Mesh/ADM unless it's a Must, and my skin/old scar tissue would hold the implants. I'm worried that my breasts with the heavy implants will sag, rippling would be very noticeable, implants would be visible. I would love to hear other opinions.
I'm scheduled to have a breast reconstruction revision ( reduction & implant size increase). I am also need to have a gastric sleeve conversation to gastric bypass for GERD by a different surgeon. Is 4 weeks between the two surgeries adequate healing time?
I was diagnosed with BC 6 years ago. I have recently under gone breast reconstructionwith Latissimus Dorsi muscle with silicone implant. 6 years ago I had radiation to my left breast. I have 600cc's on left and 500 on right. They seem too small. Can I have revision surgery to enlarge my breasts? If so, how do I approach my PS about this? I initially told him I wanted to be a full C or D.
I had reconstructive surgery 5 years after my mastectomy but I only got an implant. I would like to have it redone so that both breasts will look the same or atleast close. I would like a nipple as well. is it possible to have re-reconstructive breast surgery if you are not happy w/the look?
I think these 250 cc mod plus implants are too big for my petite frame. They are far apart going beyond my rib cage and are placed low. The nipples are not centered but I was told that if implants were placed closer together the nipples would be more off is that so?. I wonder if the 200 moderate plus would be better for me or perhaps the xtra 215. Would the scar be lower if implant was smaller? I had hi profile 225 and that didn't work as,nipples were even more off and there was more rippling
I am a sixty Three You're a female I was diagnosing wirh breast cancer in 2016 and had my right breast removed. At the end of 2 years my right was 2 sizes smaller than the other breast. She told me i was never satisfied and told me to never to come back to her. It took me 6 years snd 6 doctors that told me could not help me. I founded a doctor that did help me. He replaced tge implants. My question is this. Is it normal to fat graft 450cc and only put in 150cc ?
I had my breast reconstruction surgery with implants a few months ago and I am not satisfied with the nipple placement and the size of the implant. I wish they were a bit bigger. I wish my nipples were placed lower because when I wear some tops they peak through and also through my bras.
I am a 61 year old breast cancer survivor. Previously, I had beautiful (albeit very large 800cc implants). They were removed during double mastectomy. I underwent a two stage reconstruction. My surgeon placed 600 cc in my original under the muscle pocket. He would not fix my dog ears or do fat grafting at that time which is common practice. I am left with flat, square, lumpy, boxy breasts. What are your recommendations. I am beyond sad and disappointed.
I am a 71 year old female that had triple negative breast cancer. In November 2021 I had a bilateral mastectomy and expanders put in. In July 2022 the expanders were replaced with implants and then in Feb. 2023 the 1 implant was replaced due to it drooping. Now 8 months later the one that was replaced in Feb. has decided to droop more then it did prior to the surgery in Feb. I would really like to have 2 that are the same height and appearance. Is that even a possibility or not?
I had a breast reduction/lift using a vertical incision in August 2023. Im left with folds underneath both breasts leaving me disfigured and now battling recurrent skin infections. Pre-op size: 32DDD Current Size: 32DD Left breast: 184g removed Right breast: 91g removed My recent consult advised me to either do an augmentation with a mesh bra or with small intramuscular implants in order to get the upper pole fullness Im looking for. I dont want to be any bigger, re-reduction?
