I want to get a lollipop breast lift but my areola contracts and gets smaller when exposed to stimuli like cold weather or when touched, I am scared this will happen after surgery and may cause the wound incisions to separate. Is this possible? And what do doctors do to prevent this during the healing process?
I had a Breast lift almost 3 weeks ago and now they are infected. Please help! My doctor, Dr Ishan Basaran is ignoring my calls once he saw the pictures of my infection. I went to a local nurse (I'm in thailand). And she took out some of the stitches as she said they were infected and that they should have dissolved by now. What do I do! The wound is gapping open. Am I gonna have a massive scar? I'm devastated that my body has been ruined forever
Hi. I had an anchor scar Breast lift and buttock implants 3.5 weeks ago. The results have beengreat but on Friday I noticed that the left breast scar had opened slightly. . I asked my doctor and they said manuka honey would be good. It seems to be ok, is slightly sore ( I have to lie on my front for 3 more weeks ) I was on broad scope ciprofloxina for a month but I run out of that on Tuesday this week. I'm hoping that o could get some reassurance that this looks ok. I read that this is normal.
I am 6 weeks post op lift without implant. 2 weeks ago the last of the glue came off of my incisions and I noticed this spot on my vertical incision. It's like the incision split there under the skin but the overlaying skin never opened. It's a soft spot where the rest of the incision is firm. I showed my PS last visit and was told it looked like wound breakdown but since the skin is closed to keep an eye on it until my next visit in a few weeks. Will this heal OK without the wound opening up?
My wounds are opening up and pusing, shall I carry on taping them? Do you think I have a skin infection? I had a breast lift 3 months ago however the incisions keep opening up and it is pussing, I also have a lump under my right breast but the surgeon said it should go down by itself can someone please advise me
Its been almost 5 weeks since I had my breastlift and tummy tuck. My breasts are starting to hurt more and the wounds still arent fully closed and they are leaving bright yellow residue on my clothing. How do I get my wounds to heal fast? And can I still wear the special bra the surgeon gave me? Or should I leave my breast to dry in the open air? What to do? Also my scars are starting to appear more red than a couple of days ago, is that something to be worried about?
I had surgery Jan/2017 I was suppose to get breast lift with implants. woke up from surgery doc told me he wasn't able to do the implants bc it was to tight and he did the pockets for them but couldn't put them in so I only got Lift. My heeling was horrible, I had really bad open wounds. Just went back and he wants to do a scar revision and add the implants with a new incision to the side of breast. Would be two different surgeries. Scared it would open again and not be worth it. Should I do it?
I had a mastopexy of the left breast with an augmentation 4 weeks ago, my wound has healed well with no issues. I just saw my surgeon's PA last week. However when I was doing my scar therapy massage a small piece of dead skin pulled away on my nipple incision and it has leaked a small amount of clear fluid. I do not have any redness or additional pain. Should I try to go back to my surgeon, the only reason I am asking here is because of the 2 hour drive!
Please help me understand what is happening here, if there is an infection, and how to deal with it!! :( also should i not be lifting anything after a breast lift? it has been two weeks since my procedure, and i am supposed to go back to work tonight serving...should i not? Thanks..
