Im 7 days post op and my incisions are itching like crazy, steri-strips around the areola have been removed and thats where it itches/burns the most (the ones underneath still on). No signs of infection but in a lot of discomfort. Took Benadryl in pill form and no help. What else can I do??
I had surgery Tuesday (it's now Sunday) and I am still really uncomfortable. My breasts feel extremely bruised, tight, achy and almost like the skin is going to tear. I also have a liposuction incision on my right hip that gives me the worst burning feeling every time I remove my compression garment or move it in the slightest way. Is this normal?
I can feel it under my skin. It causes burning sensations, itching, and sensitivity. I can't live with the discomfort anymore & want to have it removed. I know my areoles will stretch out but I don't care because my breast lift was botched and left me with ugly misshapen areolas anyway. I plan on getting a full lift in the future but I can't afford it now. Until I can afford a full lift, I just want the suture removed. My original surgeon is impossible to get in touch with so he's not an option.
My right Breast scar is raised and very red after 7 months of surgery. It itches me some times. Bras bother me too. Some fabrics other than cotton seem to affect me too. I get a burning/itching sensation. Is this normal? What can I do to help scar heal better? That same Breast had a wound too that took 3 months longer to heal than my left Breast.
Hello, I'm 1 year post op and I have a dime sized hard spot on my breast lift/implant incision line. Tonight it started feeling sore and burning a bit. What could this be? I don't want to go back to my horrible surgeon, who should I have look at this (regular doctor wise)?
I had a complex breast lift with reaugmentation a little over 2 weeks ago. On my 2 week follow up it was discovered that the incision separated on the left breast. My PS advised me to do twice a day wound care dressing changes cleansing with Mycrocin spray and Silvasorb gel. I'm not sure if it's working as I think the wound looks bigger now. Can you please look at my pics and tell me if its getting better or worse. Is it infected. I do have pain more of a burning sensation. Thank you in advanced.
After my breast lift (18 mo ago), I had severe burning & pain in my left nipple & it was/is very hard. A 2nd opinion surgeon said that nipple continued nipple muscle spasms are causing the problem. He suggested Botox to relax the nipple muscles- which didn't help. I wear a silicone nipple protector over it during the day & in the shower. I'm now on Neurontin for the nerve pain and I've cut my estrogen (for menopausal sx) in half - both help a little. Is there a solution?
