I explanted and the surgeon suggested a lollipop lift. My right breast from the start came out great but the left was more painful and the scars thicker. Now I have a real ugly shape left nipple as well. Is it possible to make the nipple rounder a year from surgery? Im 10 weeks post up.
I had my Mastopexy on June 1st, It's almost three month. My scars are not healing that good. The scars are really bothering me. My surgeon recommended Silicon sheets. I have been using that and putting pressure on the scars but I don't see any difference. Should I consider the steroid injection? Have anyone heard of Apple cider Vinegar on hypertrophic scars.
Spitting stitches on both breasts after uplift. They started off as small ulcer looking sores which have now got a lot bigger and constantly weeping and bleeding. Been to my surgeon twice now who says this is normal?! Is there anything I can do to make this better and is this normal?
My wounds are opening up and pusing, shall I carry on taping them? Do you think I have a skin infection? I had a breast lift 3 months ago however the incisions keep opening up and it is pussing, I also have a lump under my right breast but the surgeon said it should go down by itself can someone please advise me
My nipple/areola is finally healing from a really bad scab after a lift with implants. Im 3.5 mo post op now. After day one it was purple, then black, then pus and scabbed for a couple of months, finally just pink now. My question is will it ever remotely match their other ? Or is this basically just a huge scar that I will be left with at this point? Thanks for your input.
Hi, Im just over 3 months post op and Ive recently began to use New Gel + areolar silicone scar sheets. Ive only been using them for three days but Ive noticed that its turning parts of the incision/scar red? Is this normal or should I stop using them? (Pic is of my left areola but parts of my right are reddish too) Thanks
I'm happy with the results of my BL overall. The shape and the degree of lift are good. As you can see looking at the before pic, but the results are pretty dramatic. My only concern is that my scars don't appear to be fading as quickly as others I've seen here at 3.5 months. Should they still be this red/uneven (wider in some places than others)? Should I be using anything at this point to speed the healing process?
I am about 3 months post op, no complications all went smoothly and healed well. Just recently noticed under one of the scars around the nipple this small bump that looks like it's yellow underneath? I wondered if this is normal/ will sort itself out or something I should get checked? Thanks
