Hi! Breast lift/reduction plus implants in Feb 2023 (10 months ago) and no issues since. Really happy with my results. I've noticed a small lump (at first thought it was thick skin along the scar line) with clear borders developing recently. I remember after surgery this exact area was bruised for months and had a small indentation. Now it has a hard, discolored lump. My surgeon said to get an ultrasound but I'm out of country right now, so I wanted to get a second opinion.
About Me: Underwent breast lift with implants in early May 2023 Had issues with blisters/ open wounds post op but fine for the most part now Appear to be experiencing blotchiness/ discoloration/ redness/ rash around incision areas, despite using scar gel as directed 29 years old, healthy Have hashimotos but in remission On .5 ozempic Taking accutane Balanced, nutritious diet and active Is anything Im doing interfering with my healing? Is this an internal issue or external irritation?
Yesterday I underwent surgery for a BL & BA. Today When I went to visit my PS he noticed that my right nipple was dark &told me that this wasnt good. he prickled at both my nipples and my right nipple came out dark blood. He put cream on it & got a color back. I was placed in a chamber to get some oxygen my color got light but now its back to being dark. I know this is barely my first day post op and maybe should give it some time to heal but can anyone let me know on some more information.
I am 2.5 weeks postop from a breast lift and implant surgery. I am extremely happy with how my breast look. However, as the last of the scabs have come off in The last few days I've noticed a discoloration around the edge of my nipples. Should I be concerned? Is this normal? Will it heal and return to it's normal color? I should disclose that at around 2 weeks post op I vaped at an extremely low nicotine level over the weekend and had some wine. Could that have caused this & can it be corrected?
Ill be 4 months post op on January 28. Im worried about my right nipple as it seems to have a little bit of discoloration and something just doesnt look right about it. Ive also noticed that nipple doesnt want to get hard anymore. They both have a hard time getting hard now but especially the right one. Just wondering why ones looks better than the other.
I had a full breast lift and augmentation a year and a half ago. The scars are now pretty light, however the skin all the way down the length of the vertical scar is a darker color than the rest of my skin. Is it possible my surgeon did not remove enough of my original areola skin and that is causing the discoloration? I noticed a couple hairs that are similar to the ones around areola there too. If so would it be reasonable to expect my surgeon to fix it without it costing me a new surgery fee?
My areola and nipple turned black and peeled off. I feel disfigured! I've spent 18K on these surgeries to look this awful! Will this area regenerate areola skin or an ugly scar? What can I do? I really didnt want to have to have another surgery to put a skin graft. I also feel that both breasts are uneven and different shapes. The right looks significantly bigger. I had breast lift/augment surgery on 10/21/2014 I just feel hideous!! He is taking care of me but is this malpractice?
The underside of my breasts still look red and angry at 7 weeks post op. I had a breast lift with small (270cc) implants. They've dropped a good bit and my scars are looking good, but they still feel very tight. How long does it usually take for the skin to look healthy following this type of surgery? Thanks in advance!
