I had a full lift with anchor incision and implants (hp saline unders 350 and 375) on Friday. I was told that I could take off the dressing after 24 hours. I've attempted this with no success. the gauze is suck to the anchor incisions. Is this ok? I don't want to pull it and open the wound. The bandages seem hard with dry blood. My post op appt isn't until Wednesday because of the holiday weekend. Should I just leave the dressing alone until I see my dr on Wednesday or should I try to remove it?
I had a breast lift with saline implants 2 days ago. Tonight my right arm feels like the circulation is being cut off. When I touch my right arm I hear gurgling noises as if my arm is full of liquid. Seems like I can even push the fluid down the inside of my arm. What should I do?
Hello, I saw my ps yesterday for my 2 day post op breast lift and augment and noticed this purple discoloration on my nipple. My ps surgeon said it was normal bruising and it will go away. I trust him but would like second opinions. I have included a pic. Thanks!
I am two days post BL/BA me find I'm shallow breathing to prevent pain of the muscles stretching. Every once in a while I almost have to take a deep breath - it feels like I have DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) after a good workout but nothing sharp or tearing. Is this safe?
I'm 2 days post op after breast augmentation and lollipop lift (350cc on left and 375cc smooth round moderate plus gel) and I'm worried about the shape. I know it's very early still but I feel like my breasts are extremely torpedo shaped and don't have much crease underneath. I also have what looks like rippling on my skin on one breast. They don't look like any pics I've seen. Any advice as to whether they look like they're progressing ok would be appreciated!!
Is this much bruising common? Will the puckering on my nipples go away? I have feeling when I touch my nipple but the whole underside is numb and the sides are too, is that normal? I am on day 2 after my surgery very little pain. Took my first shower got to see the results of my donut lift I got 475 cc under the muscle.
I have total faith in my PS. I'm only his 2nd patient this has happened to. I was in his office last week so he could look at it. He says to keep it clean & dry & it will heal over time. It will just take an extended amount of time. Now the scab is no longer attached on part of the sides & it's very scary looking. Is there still a nipple under the scab? Should some type of ointment be applied? How long is it going to take to heal?
