I had my breasts done 3 years ago and have not been able to obtain cleavage because my breasts are so far apart. Even when I push them together, they will barely touch without looking deformed. I was told recently by another doctor that I could not have close cleavage due to my anatomy. However, prior to the surgery, I was able to have cleavage. Is it possible to find a surgeon who can shift the pocket more to the front to obtain cleavage? Will that risk symmastia?
Its been over 1.5 years since my breast augmentation, and I am concerned I have a case of symmastia. The breasts were close together since the start due to my inward chest. The implant size is 375cc. Also, what are the risks of me developing symmastia (if I dont have it already) as my breasts grow naturally. I am pregnant now and concerned that my breasts will become even closer as milk comes in.
My breasts became deformed after my original implants (placed 2015 removed 2020). I have had two fat transfers and my areola scars redone but nothing changed with the indentations. Would putting in small 150/200 saline implants fix this or just make my breasts larger without changing the weird shape? I was trying to avoid new implants as I never liked the feel of them but I'm reaching my wits and wallets end with this. Would the implants increase the loss of volume as well? Thanks in advance!
16 months post op . Round smooth high profile Mentor implants under the muscle. I am happy with the results but recently I came across this condition and it made me think about the fact that my breast do not have the gape between them as you see in other implants results. When I lift them the gap becomes smaller . The gap should remain the same in normal breasts or it is normal for them to get closer in bras an when you lift them? Thank you in advance.
I got my original BA with 400cc gummy implants under the muscle. After 6 months they still were not dropping so my PS went back in to manually drop them. Before the revision I told him I thought I had symmastia and wanted the middle corrected. After surgery he told me my midline was fine and I did not have an issue. However, 6 months post revision I still am not happy with my results. Can this be fixed?
I am 4 months post op and after 6 weeks my breast started slowly moving closer. I noticed my skin between my breast slightly raised when wearing a bra. When I lay down the skin is tight and I cant pinch it, standing straight up it looks slightly raised and if I bend over I can pinch the skin. Sometimes I think my cleavage looks good and other times it looks like I have no cleavage line. It all determines in the postion of my breast. Do I have symmastia or is this normal?
I provided these pictures to my surgeon who told me my gap is now closed. To me, I still have a 1 finger gap at least. He advised to stop massaging and to stop wearing my compression/sports bra. I need a 2nd opinion. Does it look like I may have symmastia? I am worried if I stop massaging, I may develop capsular contracture later on. ( I was told I needed to massage for 4-6 months at least) If I cant wear a sports bra, is it ok to wear a wireless bra or better to go braless altogether? Thanks!
Hi! Like I said in the previous post I had a mild symmastia repair almost 70 days ago with permanent internal sutures towards the midline and releasing at the lateral of the breasts. The implants are 360cc UHP unders. I had identations that resolved. The problem now is that when I bend over I see that the sternum skin lifts a bit, the same happens with some bras, that I've only tried to see how it looked like. Will this improve with time or did the repair failed? Thank you so much!
