I had my second set of 250cc then 300 cc removed with a small fat transfer due to chronic pain on one side ever since my last surgery (3 breast surgeries due to late seroma and capsule contracture). If my pain on that side does improve, does it seem likely that it would re occur if I get small implants again? Or if it is chronic nerve pain or something that wont resolve, any harm in replacing implants? I could do a second transfer but I understand implants are more reliable.
I had a seroma on the left breast that was aspirated 3 times in the month after my op 2 years ago. Since then no problems except sensation has changed to more sensitive. Now since a few weeks the left breast has a burning sensation all the time. It is a little swollen compared to the right one but it has always been slightly bigger. I have Sebbin microtextured implants subglandular. Any known cases of ALCL with these implants? What could this pain be? Rupture?
I had my surgery three weeks ago, silicone moderate 375 and 400 cc under muscle. I have a few concerns, one that I have developed squishy moveable lumps on each breast, my right breast on the side near my armpit has gone dimply, almost feels like it goes in and out like rippling? But my biggest concern is that my left breast on the inside has gone very hard, feels like its under the implant, like a hard raised line going around the implant, where I have highlighted the photo, is this normal?
I am looking for advice please, i know it's difficult without examination but based on my photos does it appear like i could have had a seroma/hematoma after my breast aug? I was in excruciating pain straight after my surgery, i was very swollen but it decreased day 3, on day 5 the swelling returned badly but only on one side, both breasts very hot to touch and severe pain continued, bandages were removed on day 7 by a nurse but replaced as i had blistering, could this be a complication?
My implants are 10 years old (sillicone, textured, under the muscle). My right breast became swollen and my surgeon has retired so I can't call him. I'm on antibiotics and had a scan which showed a seroma and no rupture. They did a fine needle aspiration and sent the fluid off for testing. No results yet. They are testing for BIA-ALCL and I assume infection also. If it's not ALCL or infection, how would this usually be managed? Am I definitely going to need more surgery?
Had breast implants put in 5 months ago. 3 months after surgery had to get an internal stitch removed cause the body was rejecting it. After that my incision has never stopped oozing. The breast got very inflamed all over but there is no infection. Doctor put me on Prednisone and antibiotics and inflammation has healed but the wound is still oozing. No pain, fever or warmness. It's been draining around 5 ml a day for 10 days but I want to know if it's actually gonna stop eventually :(
Another doc told me I have a capsular after cartilage rib graft for rhino 2 months ago. The incision is through my breast. But my breast has been feeling tight and full since a wk after surgery. Doesn't hurt. Could a capsular happen that quickly? I had ba in April and everything was fine until the rib graft. Original surgeon said Seroma. Now idk what's going on. I have what feels like lumps pockets of water maybe under breast. Can it still just be a Seroma?
I have a Seroma in one breast. My implant sits high now even though the swelling is gone. My doctor is confident it'll absorb but I feel it's been taking too long. He wants to see me at my 3 month checkup but it's depressing me.
I am post op day 12 of a breast augmentation. 650/700cc, areola incision, under the muscle. My right breast the 700cc has a Seroma its been present about 5 days as far as I have noticed. I have seen my surgeon he wants to see if the body will absorb it. It caused me to have spitting stitches. I am wondering how long you would leave a Seroma before going in to drain in? I am on an antibiotic as well just to be safe and don't want to risk infection. He wants me to wait another week.. Is this fine?
