I have McGhan breast implants that just passed the 10 year mark in Feb. Just two weeks ago I noticed that my left breast has less volume. Appears I might have a rupture. I am bit confused about the lifetime replacement on the warranty. If I am still eligible for it even if I am past the 10 year mark for financial assistance.
I have had McGhan implants Saline implants since year 2000. I lost all sensation in my nipple since the surgery and parts of my breast also. I have always felt like there was something sitting on my chest and feel like I can't take a deep breath also.
I'm getting 650cc high profile smooth round under muscle implants. My measurements and pictures are below but my base width is 9.5 and IM distance is 4.5. My implants would be McGhan Style 68HP. 650-700. 25-68650HP Diameter-14.0 Projection-6.1 I don't mind having side rippling but will I have rippling in bathing suits? I know its hard to predict but I just wanted to see if any other doctors could give me a definite answer. Thank you so much!
I have heard, Nothing is covered after 10 years! Is that right? Why? Isn't it true that the longer you have them, the more likely they are to be ruptured? They didn't tell you they needed to be removed back in the 90's. Isn't it admitting that implants break down and are not expected to last beyond 10 yrs if they place the burden of a deadline on you, the pt, to properly care for them by having them removed before year 10? What about covering patients from before that data was made known?
