Hello, Im interested in breast augmentation.. Will 10 mg of Lexapro affect a breast augmentation surgery or make a hematoma more likely to occur? *I will be going to a double board certified plastic surgeon for the procedure but dont know if I should avoid this medication until after surgery. Ive been off it for months but would like to go back on it to manage my anxiety. Ill wait until after surgery to start if it will prevent complications but if it makes no difference I can start med now
My first surgery was last year. I had 255cc in both breasts. My right breast had a hematoma which we drained. Ever since its been significantly larger than my left. My doctor said that the asymmetry would resolve with time. Fast forward 10 months and it hasn't. It's much bigger and lower than my left breast. He says that there's no more fluid in my breast and my implant is not bottoming out. He says the asymmetry is due to my anatomy but I think it's because of the hematoma. What do you think?
I always have some sort of pain on my left breast (left in picture) definitely feels a lot heavier then my right breast. It does sit slightly lower then my right and when I lift my arms sits slightly lower aswell. Is it nerve pain? Bottoming out?? I did have a emergency surgery on right breast 17 days post due to hematoma. I received 700cc scx implants in both breast 04/26/21 I do have an extremely uneven sternum and I believe my surgeon did a fantastic job making them LOOK the same.
I am 9 days post op. There was a point where this breast was larger and more painful but that subsided early on. However, the breast just doesnt look right to me. Its been bruised and new bruises developed a few days ago. Now theres oozing for two days intermittently. Im just worried I have a hematoma and its not being managed appropriately.
I had silicone breast implants placed 15 days ago. The left is soft and painless. The right is painful and harder to the touch. I had bilateral capsular contractures with saline implants in the past and am very concerned. Could this be an infection? Hematoma? Or contractures again?
I am 8 days post op from a breast augmentation and donut lift. 7 days post op from hematoma drainage. My right breast feels tighter and harder at random times with some pain . I still have the drain in me so Im not sure if this is why. Although my right one feels more swollen the left one appears bigger. Judging from the picture, what are your thoughts? Thanks.
My Dr. said everything was perfect. Approx3 days after my surgery I noticed blood from the incision site of my right breast. I went to the ER and was diagnosed with a hematoma, DVT, Pulmonary embolism, and Anaemia. I was scheduled for removal of the hematoma. The day of my surgery Dr. Brecht said NOT to have surgery. said she had reviewed my records from the hospital and I did not have a hematoma. Based on her advice I did not have surgery to remove the hematoma.I now have capsule contracture.
I am looking for advice please, i know it's difficult without examination but based on my photos does it appear like i could have had a seroma/hematoma after my breast aug? I was in excruciating pain straight after my surgery, i was very swollen but it decreased day 3, on day 5 the swelling returned badly but only on one side, both breasts very hot to touch and severe pain continued, bandages were removed on day 7 by a nurse but replaced as i had blistering, could this be a complication?
March 17 org surgery. 3/2/18 revision of contracture w/ muscle cut underneath to 3/11 hematoma formed and ruptured. 3/12 opened again to wash out with antibiotic fluid. 3/17 extreme pain. Seen in office on 3/22 given new antibiotic and told it should clear the infection. With fever 101 and BP over 145. 3/26 2nd opinion, new surgeon claims immediate removal, org dr claims can wait until fri (its mon) and you cant go septic. 3/27 implants removed. Arguing over when it can go back in?
