I took a heavy snowboarding fall yesterday and am worried I burst my silicon breast implant. What would be the symptoms of this as opposed to a muscle strain (the GP said he just thought I pulled the serratus anterior). I cant detect any visible change in my breast or any textural change upon palpation. The area is not hot. Should I stick to the ibuprofen for a few days and see what happens, and try to see my surgeon when I get home from vacation or try to get an MRI here in the ski resort?
My dog accidentally hit my boob while I was laying down. I'm 3 days post op and I'm worried. I don't have any bruising but my right boob is able to move more freely without pain but I feel the implant bubble on the bottom right. Not a lot and I may have felt it before the incident, I'm not sure. But my left boob is still tight and tinder. Why is it soft and more boob-like? Is that a bad sign? What do I need to look out for? 34A -> 533cc left 575cc right
I had 500cc silicone implant place under the muscle. Ten days post op I was going 70mph when a garden tractor was lost off of a trailer and I hit it. airbags deployed. then another car rear ended me. No recollection of my boobs ever being hit by the air bag or the seat belt hurting them. I have no bruising, no cuts, no heat & no excessive pain. my question is I know the implants themselves can tolerate a lot. I'm more concerned about the healing pockets at this early stage of everything?
I had a breast augmentation in June of last year. Everything looked great until after a car accident recently. The damage to my car was over $5,000. Since I didn't have any broken bones, I wasn't sure it was caused by the accident. My right breast has dropped. I have no pain in the breast, and it is very soft. My left breast has not changed at all. I have before and after pictures of my breast in clothes. Your help is greatly appreciated. P.S. I did follow up with my surgeon, and only got to see his assistant that day. She prescribed steroids thinking my left breast had a capsular contracture, and recommended that I do breast massages only on my left breast. My left breast isn't the issue here; it is my right breast that changed overnight as you can see in the before and after pictures.
At about 6-8 months Post I had an accident on a quad. Nothing I didn't get up and hop back on but I got thrown into a tree on my right side. My side hurt for a good month and my breast slightly. It was more rib cage. Could this be why I am now feeling firmer on that side? Could it be CC? I notice it's worse at different times. Sometimes it feels very firm and sometimes, mostly durring the day I fell much softer. Literally like it contracts at times. My PS is in PA where we lived, now in Tampa FL
Was hit from behind and noticed a few days later a decrease in the size of the breast. Assumed the silicone had leaked. After surgery was informed that the implant was in tact but had moved out of the pocket behind the chest wall. I decided to undergo a diep flap but I want to know if the accident caused the implant to move or was this a coincidence. I experienced no pain because I have no feeling in the breast after the macectomy
