Breast Implants + Silimed Q&A

I had another consultation today and was offered MENTOR, ALLERGAN & SILIMED. I have never heard of Silimed before so I decided to do research but it has been hard to find much information and size charts

What brand options do we have for teardrop implants? The surgeon I had my consult with uses Silimed which I'm a little skeptical since it's not a US company. Which brand do you prefer and why? Thank you!

Hi, I have Silimed textured breast implants. I have seen the concerns around BIA-ALCL. Is there a heightened risk? My right breast feels slightly harder than the left, is this normal? Or should I be worried? Thank you

I have ehlars-danlos syndrome very loose skin with snoopy deformity and huge 995cc Silimed textured cohesive silicone gel implants. Iv only just found out the were pulled from the uk. And only just heard about BIA-ALCL, whilst researching breast implant illness which I now realise is what has made the past 8 years of my life a misery. I have almost all the symptoms. By the way I had my implant to stabalize a severe chest pain. Which it did but now the skin is loose again they are useless. Please help

I had 320cc Silimed Tear Drop Textured implants (moderate profile) placed under the muscle 7 weeks ago. I was originally a 10A bra. the implant specs are 11.9cm wide 11.9cm high and 4.9cm projection. I am a bit disappointed as I don't seem to have the side boob or fullness around base like I asked dr for. My doc said that it will take 6 months to get the final shape. Im not sure if the have ''d & f'' but I am really upset, has my doctor chosen the wrong implant for me.

i had BA done 23 days ago . i had tubular breast , i went for 365 cc anatomical silicon gel silimed , i am not happy with my result it looks weird to me , i am worry about the fluff between my boobs , the skin on my breast bone has come up , is that normal and it is going to subside or it is synmastia??

Are silimed polyurethane coated gummy bear implants more safe ? Does the coating not leak into the skin? I've heard of many problems...has there really been enough testing and how long are they on the market?

325cc Silimed high profile sub pectoral. Shall time be the healer or was I just genetically designed with this gap between my breasts?Are they 'tuberous'? My pecs are very tight post surgery, shall stretching my pecs help to reduce the slight lateral placement and aid a more medial shift of my cleavage. I know I know, too early to tell, but want to know if this will resolve, or if there is ANYTHING I can do about it. Shall I stay away from pec exercises for ever so I dont worsen the problem?
