I can't believe I had to select 'breast implant revision' as the topic. I'm a so sad. 7w post, natural 36DDD, with weight loss and poor skin elasticity I underwent surgery w/ the goal of a lift and a small implant for upper pole fullness. Doc said no more than 375..he put in approx 500. I am tall (5'10, mid20s). I read about having to revise the pocket with downsizing. Can this be avoided by switching it out sooner + a lift? I want 375/400ccs. Why do doctors do this?
I need to downsize. currently have a 485cc, 4.8cm projection, and 13.6cm width. I want a 385c, 4.5 projection, and 12.5cm width. Would the breast pocket have to be manipulated at all? My implants are still on the higher side. Does the burning and sutures affect future implant exchange in the future?
1. Right breast when I sleep on the side, I feel implant move. 2. PS didn't correct IMF so one nipple sits higher than the other. Had bottoming out before the revision. 3. lumps on my left breasts from fat transfer. PS told me that he didn't tighten the pocket or correct IMF position. He says I should have requested this prior to the op. Is this true? To correct above concerns what procedures to discuss with him in my follow up?
I had a BA 8 years ago for flat chest. Dr measured nipple to inframmamary fold 4.5cm; stretched, 6cm. He squeezed in 460cc, allergen #45. High profile. Was a small D cup. Loved the results but noticed fullness had gone down after 6-7 years. Got a revision to regain fullness. Dr said Id need 600cc to achieve that. I didnt want that large of an implant. I said I wanted around 550cc. He gave me 650cc, inspira srx. Im worried its too big for my chest. Would downsizing look funny from larger?
I am 58, 5'4, 118 pds. 22 years ago I had gummy bear implants to go from an 32A cup to a C cup. My weight has remained fairly constant but I am now 32D cup with back/neck/shoulder issues. I am looking at getting current implants removed and do not wish to return to an A cup. Am looking at a lift and smaller implants. What is your implant size/ suggestion (ie cc's and profile) for me to go to a healthy B cup? Thank you
Im 5,2 110lbs, athletic with very little body fat I currently have 380 HP UTM saline implants (diameter of 11.40) My BWD is 11 and 11.50. Im downsizing to either 195 LP (diameter of 10.40) or 220LP (diameter of 10.90) I cant decide which would be best since my pocket is already developed. Would 195 be too small ?
Hello, One year ago I underwent a lift w/implants. I wanted between 225 and 250 cc mod or low-mod. I was talked into 305 mod plus, and I hate them. I am planning to go to 220cc low profile. Despite not liking the size the shape is absolutely beautiful. The new surgeon says he will the old ones and then add internal stitches to close the pocket. He says lifting/tightening wont be needed. Im not so sure. Please advise as I dont want to trade shape for ideal size. I want nice shape AND size.
I received 300cc submuscular medium profile implants in 2017. I like them, but my upper chest (the area under my collarbone) feels bulbous and it drives me nuts. Id rather have breast have fullness at the bottom, not throughout my whole chest. Will a breast revision down to 150cc implants fix this? Or is the protrusion just a necessary aspect of breast implants, and should I just go for an explant surgery?
I am 53 143lbs and currently have breast implants. 465cc high profile on the right and 405cc moderate profile on the left, both silicone. I have been having some right breast pain which is midline and intermittent the last 2 months. Have seen 2 doctors, one recommended downsizing implants and doing a lift if needed, the other recommended removal with a lift. I am currently a 34DDD and would like to be a 34C. Pre surgery I was a 34 C cup on the left and B on the right.
