Im worried that when I go to remove my implants there will be an indentation in my ribs. Ive heard from many women whove had this experience, in which their ribs are pushed down due to the implants. And after explanting they can see a dent in their breasts. Mine are under the muscle and too big for my frame. Im 51, 115lbs and have 385cc in one and 365cc in another. Is there a way to fill out this space when doing an explant that is NOT fat grafting? Will a lift help?
I have EC PIP breast implants. The surgeon has not removed all contents, been ill for over 2 years. A&E removed as I had cellulitis. But the stuck escaped parts esp in the right breast, not removed. They have also not removed armpit free silicone. Ill stay stuck as so adhered to my rib cage. Pls see scans. What do I do? 5 days since Explant. Right still stuck. They did say they removed capsules, but this was stuff outside them. As you can see my rib cage has twisted due to being stuck.
I had my first implants in 1989, and had them replaced in 2012, repeatedly telling the surgeon I wanted smaller ones. He put the same size back in, ignoring my wishes. I am 66 years old. I just want these things gone. Is there some way to have this done without spending so much money? I feel cheated.
Under muscle partial capsulectomy, part of capsule adherant to rib. Two seromas drained on left breast but resolved. Hard firm area upper inner pole left breast. Surgeon says rib my doctor thinks so too buthaving mammogram tomorrow. Noticeable immediately after explant. Scared! Could this be rib or scar tissue? No photo as not visible.
The rib pain came towards the last few months of my short time with implants. Now I am almost 5 months post removal and not much has changed comfort wise. If anyone can recommend healing remedies, what to take to heal internally or any physical therapy to do. This is no way to live for the rest of my life as a 27 year old. I am patient but afraid this might be a permanent thing that I cannot live through. Both doctors are not understanding so any advice would be appreciated.
I have been told that ribs have to find its shape again too (not only breast tissue) Because implants behind the muscle push ribs backwards, Is that correct? How long does it take? Many thanks!
