I had a pimple looking bump on my right incision I pressed on it and puss began to come out. Colour as shown in pictures. Then eventually smaller amount came out and clearer. Increased redness around this incision. No pain, however i am still numb in that area. I travelled for my surgery so I have no direct access to surgeon should i be concerned and go see a doctor?
I had my b/a a month ago now (27th April - 27th May) and I noticed my incision had some puss/liquid coming out 9 days ago, it wasnt much. I put allevyn dressing on and remove in the shower. I dont have pain, I noticed because I had some discomfort. This is the most puss Ive seen on my dressing, 3 days ago the puss stopped, 2 days ago a little come, then today its the most its been in the 9 days. Ive attached a photo of the dressing after 24hrs of use and my incision.
Breast augmentation on April 4 2018. nurse removed Dermabond glue on 4/13 and cut some spitting sutures. But now I see on my right armpit a small opening? And yellow goo comes out of it ? Is it pus? Is it infected? On my left armpit theres a small circular opening maybe where a spitting suture was, and it also has yellow goo inside.. should I be worried? And how long does it take for the incision pain to leave? Thanks in advance (red arrows pointing to openings)
Two years ago I had excess breast tissue removed from my armpit. There have always been a few pucker points along the incision line. This past week, this pimple like sac formed (if I press on it, it drains pus and then is full again the next day). Is this an ingrown hair that's caused an infection or a suture coming out?
After 1 year of BA I felt a lump, a bit painful below the breast near incision. I met with the cance doctor, had mammogram, sonogram and biopsy. The results were in and it show it was pus. I was prescribe antibiotics. Follow up a sonogram was done and it show the lump had gotten much smaller. Follow up doctor stated it would get better. However, at times I feel pain, is it possible a suture wasnt dissolve.
I have been healing tremendously and so happy! At 20 days the scabbing started to separate from the incisions. As I was cleaning the incisions my pressure non-forcefully encouraged the left scab to come off. Followed by slight redness and discomfort for an hour. I took a shower and put steri-tape on both of my incisions. At day 22 I took the tape off and noticed a small amount of brown puss along with a very slight odour (left). Is this infected? Again, no pain or discomfort just worried.
1 month post-op. Initially looked like it had puss in it but the yellowish color went away and it looked purple. I tried to squeeze it to release any blood that was inside.Nothing came out. What was it? Is this normal? Will it scar?
I have a hole under both breasts. Both are leaking yellow thick puss. Could my implants be exposed? necrosis? I'm 4 weeks post op. I'm treating it 2x daily with SSD and applying gauze. Breasts are sore and the openings hurt. Please help! Thank you in advance!
Hello doctors, I'm 6 weeks post periareolar mastopexy. So far an unpleasant surprise every other days & don't know when this is going to stop & I can enjoy the result of my surgery w/o being so worry & conscious about it! Today I noticed there are some whitish pus on 2 spots on my areola incision in which I found a very tiny bit of left-over dissolvable stitch. When I cleaned them, these 2 hole appeared! I'm kind of worried. Please help. Also, will this cause bad future visible scars? Thank you
