I wanted to know if it looks infected. My doctor said to let it drain itself and just to apply a cream he gave me so I won't get an infection, but every time I put a gauze it sticks. When I have to remove it to clean it, I start draining and blood comes out, just a little spitting. How is it supposed to dry if it keeps draining small amounts?
I am 4 weeks post-op from a breast augmentation procedure. I had my incisions in the axilla region. One of my incions has formed a large knot at and below the incision line. There is no overt redness or drainage. There is a moderate amount of pain. This site also seems to track the right tendon above the suture. Do I have cause for concern?
After massagingin the shower I came out and notice some pink yellow brownish colored fluid coming from my left breast. It seems to be fine while covered with a band aid but with out it the fluid keeps coming out non stop without I want to see my surgeon but I had my surgery in Miami and the place I went to was not at all professional it was more like a market then a doc office :( I am not sure what to do please help
Bilateral BA on June 5th 375cc allergen cohesive gel moderate profile under the muscle, crease incision. Right breast dropped beautifully, is soft and natural looking and feeling but the insicion started to dehiscence two weeks ago, PS said to keep it dry and clean and not stretch my breast up. I got home from work today and noticed a significant hole, slight bloody drainage and what looks like a black interior of the hole itself. Please help, whats going on?
I am 3 weeks post op. I have been experiencing sig. drainage from my R breast incision. Im on 500mg Cipro BID. Drainage is mostly serous w/o odor. Ocassionally dark yellow. No redness or warmth to the breast. Slight erythema to peri-wound area. But the picture I took appears to show a tunnel and I can feel the air moving into what feels like a pocket of space when I change the dressing. I go back on Mon, but what are the possible next steps, and best/worst case scenarios. Im scared.
I had a BA on Jan. 25th 2018. I was doing so well and even started massages until my right incision started dripping out dark red blood at Week 2. I let my surgeon know and he told me it was in fact a hematoma, internal bleeding. Due to this, my surgeon took me back to the Operating Room and took out the implant, cleaned everything and took out excess blood and gave me a drain for my right breast. My color started at red but now has stayed at light pinkish/reddish and yellow. What does it mean?
I had a dermafibroma removed about 2 weeks from my shin. I stopped using Neosporin on day 4 because there was quite a bit of redness present and it got worse from there. I started clindamycin 9 days ago and the picture below is what it looks like today. I have been back to my Dr. and she doesn't really know what's wrong. The rest of the stitches were removed about a week ago. I just want a second opinion. No pus or drainage present, but it is a little warm to the touch.
Currently treating it with aquaphor and patience. PS said to give it time and that drainage/debridement isn't necessary. I've seen progress in the last week (posted a pic for some reference) but how long before something like this takes to heal fully and for pigment to return? I am in touch with my PS but just wanted to hear what you all think. Thank you for your time.
I am 3 weeks postoperatively silicone. After the first week, developed a large seroma and my doctor would not drain. In 15 days drained spontaneously through the scar, and now I have to try to drain help decrease the amount of liquid. How long does it take to stop seroma to drain and heal?
I feel liquid and bubbles inside my right breast and I had my BA 5 months ago and my upper back and neck have hurt ever since. my surgeon says I should have an ultrasound to double check if I have liquid inside or not and he says if there is liquid it can be drained with a neddle and surgery is not needed. Is that safe? I'm extremely worried
