I am 52 and 127 pounds. I had my breast augmentation in may of 2022. Each breast has 450cc silicone gel. I became pregnant in January of 2023. I had my baby on 8/28. I chose not to breast feed and my breasts got SUPER engorged. That went away after a week. However, I am now 2 months PP and experiencing significant pain in my left breast. I can feel the implant moving around and its uncomfortable. The breast still looks the same and is soft. Could this be early capsular contracture?
Hi, i had my breast augmentation around 6 months ago. I have seen on some websites that teeth cleaning may capsular contracture. Is this true? Today i have an appointment at the dentist to deep clean my teeth.
My implants are now 7 years old. Last week I noticed my left breast starting to feel slightly deflated. I can always feel my implants as I do not have a lot of tissue. However my left I can feel all the way round and it feels like it has stuck to my armpit. The implant is very palpuable and aches a lot with the occasional burning sensation. Can pulling a muscle have the same effect?
I have had implants placed sub glandular and ended up with capsular contracture. Many years later I had implants placed sub muscular and ended up with severe animation deformity (current situation). I am interested in subfascial placment as a possible way of helping to prevent these issues. IF subfascial implants ever had to be removed, would it destroy the fascia and cause other issues? Does fascia adhere to the implants making it very difficult to remove?
Im 6 months post-op and Im still feeling my left breast a bit tighter and firmer than the other, specially when I lay down and when I woke up. (I have 315cc in my left, and 335cc in my right). Should I be worried about a capsular contraction? Or any advice. I will see my doctor next week hopefully.
I am 36, healthy bmi, with a very small upper body and aa breasts.I had a consult with a surgeon who said that he didn't suggest doing a nipple reduction and breast implants at the same time, due to nipple bacteria that increases the risk of capsular contracture. I don't doubt his expertise, but was hoping to see other doctor's thoughts on this. I have long droopy nipples from breastfeeding and very little breast tissue, hoping for a natural small c look. Thanks in advance!
