I am considering getting a breast augmentation and my PS recommended me to get off the pill a few weeks before but I have alot of negative side effects coming off the pill and was hoping I could just continue using it. My nurse Advised me it would be fine as long as I got clearance from my Dr and understood the risks involved but I wanted to see what advice others had.How likely those risks are. Have you seen issues in your own patients who stayed on?
Hi, i am 25years old, have small pituitary gland, very low FSH and LH, low estrogen, no period, tiny breast, and osteoporosis high level. Started taking control birth pills 1 year ago and 1 year before was taking only estrogen . Still breast is small and osteoporosis same level.
I am scheduled to have my breast augmentation surgery in May. I currently have the Nexplanon Birth Control implant in my arm. Should I schedule with my doctor to have it removed prior to my surgery, or can I leave it in?
Right breast larger than my left. I feel as though both have dropped already. My PS said I had very slight asymmetry which we only noticed when she did the actual measurement. I didn't think it would be THIS noticeable. Is R breast is still swollen & the left breast is actual result? Maybe L breast still hasn't fully dropped and it will eventually look like the right breast? When I wear the sports bra and a fitted shirt the difference is noticeable :( Could starting birth control effect healing?
I'm due my surgery on the 13th of December. I recently had to come off the morning after pill because my gran has had a blood clot before however my bloods came back ok. However I Had to take the morning after pill on Monday which is just under 3 and a half weeks before the operation. I try don't want it to be re scheduled and worried :( . Averagly how long would you wait for a patient for surgery after taking this? Thank you
I was instructed to stop taking my birth control pills 2 weeks before surgery. My fianc and I forgot and had an accident last night. Am I able to take plan b today? My surgery is in 2 days. Or would it be better to take it the day of after surgery? It would still be within the first 72 hours. I have also been on birth control for the last 12 years so I don't know if this effects my ferility or the need for plan b.
