Ok, today I think I spit 2 stiches. I notice a red dot on my right breast and when I looked closer it was a hole. Then I looked at my left and there was a scab & I scratched it and puss came out. I called e# and the ps on call said it sounds like a spit stitch and to put neosporin& bandage over it. I have a burning sensation on the spit stich that is bleeding. Normal?? I have to wait until Monday to see my ps. I feel a little feverish too. Not sure if it's a flu or infection. TY
I had a dermafibroma removed about 2 weeks from my shin. I stopped using Neosporin on day 4 because there was quite a bit of redness present and it got worse from there. I started clindamycin 9 days ago and the picture below is what it looks like today. I have been back to my Dr. and she doesn't really know what's wrong. The rest of the stitches were removed about a week ago. I just want a second opinion. No pus or drainage present, but it is a little warm to the touch.
This is my third 3 after my breast augmentation .. I was showering and the bandage was peeling off so I went to fix it and I realized when the bandaged peel off some of the scab peeled off with it .. I'm freaking out I don't want to scar bad what should I do ? Can I put some neosporin in the little part where the bandage came off ?
I had a mommy makeover March 26,2015 (7 weeks ago today) this included lift (no implant).About four weeks post-op the tape was taken off and I had a large scab under my right breast. My doctor had me put Neosporin on and keep covered. That soon melted scab and created open wound it is now 3 weeks of wound care (wash with bar soap,Neosporin and woundpad) and not much has changed. No oozing, pain, heat or smells. Just very sensitive breasts. Is something wrong with me? Why am I healing so slow?
2 days ago I saw a little open wound under my right breast in the middle. after a little suture come out called my plastic surgeon He told me to put Neosporin on it. And told me that it looked like a inflammation. I have no fever and it dont hurt. Im worried that this can be a infection that going to make my right breast look really bad? Should I go to a doctor? My plastic surgeon is 24 hours away so that is no option. Or should I just keep put Neosporin on it and wash it whit soap and water?
I just had a breast augmentation With lift 3 weeks ago some water got under my surgery tape so when I took tape off it looked like this I been putting Neosporin on and letting it dry what do I need to do to make it heel I need to see a doctor or is it infected
I started neosporin on post op day 6 and continued to use for 1 week until it was confirmed that I was having an allergic reaction to it. I stopped and took an oral steroid for a few days. I started scar away (silicon sheets) at 2 weeks post op. The rash seems to disappear some days and then get really bad like now. At this point i am wondering if i should just completely stop using everything and just let my skin work the issues out of its own or if I should seek the help of a dermatologist.
