I had a breast aug 9 months ago, and in the early weeks following the op one of my scars showed signs of a little bleeding where it hadn't healed as well as the rest of the incision. I treated this with iodine and kept it covered as recommended by my surgery. It cleared up over time as normal. However, this little brown mark has never gone. It's smooth to touch (I massage the scars with oil twice a day) but up close it does look like a little scab or blood blister. Should I seek advice from a GP?
Hello i had a breast lift and augmentation in june 2022 (as well as a bracioplasty in jan 2023.) i am still experiencing pain in my breasts 11 months since having my breasts done.. i recently had an ultrasound and they told me theres a lot of fluid around my implants (more on the most painful breast.) as well as this, i have fluid in my hands i think as one is bigger than the other. Im really worried mostly about my breasts because ive read about BIA alcl - please can i have some advice?
I got breast surgery 9 months ago and I keep noticing that my right breast looks different. It seems like the nipple is lower than the right side. I cant seem to understand the drop and fluff hasnt fully happened on that side yet. Could it take this long to drop?
9 month post op, breast augmentation with sicilone HP 400 cc left, 475 cc right, under the muscle. 52, 120 lbs. Why does my left breast take on this irregular slope, and stick out like a bump from certain views? It makes my breast look like a triangle / cone, especially with soft nipples. Back story: had mild tuberous aplasia, BF transfer, infection which gave me an asymmetry, got implants. Considering to exchange them with much smaller ones. Should anything else be done? Thx
Hi there, I got my implants over 9 months ago and feel like they are still sitting a bit higher than I would like. I am not 100% happy with my profile with them but am ok with them head on. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you!
It will be a year on 9/3, so they're done dropping and fluffing at this point, correct? Will they ever be even? I know they're sisters not twins but they look so different! Why do they seem deformed from most angles? Is it wrong to have expected better results? Am I being too OCD? I was told the crease is due to the lack of breast tissue and everything looks fine. Though, I can make the crease disappear temporarily if I massage them, but it doesn't last long. I'd love a second opinion, thanks!
This morning I woke up and heard a sloshing sound in my chest that sounded like an air bubble. I know they are normal immediately following surgery but is it normal to get them again so much later after getting the initial surgery? Also I was in a small jet that went through pretty bad turbulence yesterday could this have caused it? Thanks.
I had my Brest augmentation in March 2016 Its been already more than a year I recovered all my sensibility on the areola area, but Im afraid to get rid of the keloid scar and loose my sensation and never gain it back. Whats the most common procedure to get rid of the keloid scar and not loose any sensibility. I would like to know also the cost.
I had breast aug mid Feb under the muscle. I have back issues and need adjustments along my full back that are done face down on the bed/chair. When can i start these treatments again without affecting the implant or look of the breasts?
In the last year I've taken antibiotics whenever I've had a bacterial infection to avoid a capsule. My surgery was last November. My breasts look beautiful but I've had horrible side effects from the antibiotics I've taken. I now need to get several dental fillings done but do not want to take another round of antibiotics, and don't want to develop a capsule. If I proceed with the dental work a year after surgery with no antibiotics am I jeopardizing the outcome of my surgery?
