I read somewhere that fat cells will likely survive if it is injected under muscle and not under the skin - is it true? Why can certain dr inject more than 2500 cc (a girl with bmi25 received this amount by an nyc dr) each cheek while others can only inject 1000cc as their maximum? Ill do BBL soon and im looking for a dr who can do aggressive lipo. im 5'7 161lbs athletic build but lots of excess fat.
My surgeon is board certified and has experience with BBLs but I recently learned that he injects the fat under the muscle. I have read that this is a risky procedure if the fat is injected into the muscle or below it because of the risk of pulmonary embolism. Should I consider cancelling or is this a routine method?
Ok I am hearing many conflicting things in my research of BBL and the best place for the fat to be placed, for the safest, most effective/blood supply/lasting/less lumpy results. into the muscle? heard couple deaths due to entering blood stream? but this area has good blood supply, hence, better survival rate for fat? under the muscle? into the superficial fat? safest but would'nt that be lumpy? HELP?
