Hello doctors, Thank you for your time. Can someone explain if these diseases make this surgical procedure more difficult or is it more of a after care worry. I have procitis. I have mild to no symtoms and do not take any medication. Also to my shock had a blood test which indicated a high rheumatoid arthritis factor. I have never had one symtom. What are the risk when on the surgery table? What are the risks after surgery? And why do some doctors refuse to consider me as a patient? Kind regards
Hello I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and I am currently receiving remicade infusions and a low does of Prednisone 5 (mg) daily. It is very difficult for me to find a Dr that will even consider doing my BBL. Should I just give up or is there any Dr willing as long as I get my medical clearance. I can even stop my medication if needed. Thank you.
I am 40 years old. I was told I have RA due to positive RF, no swelling of my joints, no signs on X rays.. I do struggle with inflammation in general, pain in my back, hips, and I get my hands and feets injected due to trigger finger and Hallux rigidus.. supposedly both things are complications of RA. I am 5'3, weight 177lbs, my BMI is 31, and I have an apple shape body. My mayor problem is my hip dips and belly. I'd like a more hourglass shape. Is it safe to have this procedure?
I am on methotrexate and cabergoline. My rheumatologist mentioned she had a few patients who have had a BBL & were completely fine. She recommends, stopping the methotrexate 4 weeks before and 4 weeks after any type of surgery. Waiting to hear back from my endocrinologist to be medically clearly but I believe I will be fine, just wanted to hear from you all!
