Im getting a bbl with liposuction to fill out my hipdips and get a fuller and rounder bum. I often hear other patients complain about the fat not surviving. Most of the Fajas I see have compression on the full body except the buttarea. I worry that all the Fajas compress the HipDip area and could potentially kill the fat, are there any solutions to that?
Im 16 days post-op. Wore garment for 5 days post-of & it came off on day 6 due to circulation problems in stomach. On day 14 it was back on but i feel it's too tight around my butt & Im afraid it may negatively affect final results. I'd like 2 hear the opinion of other surgeons. Should I keep same garment? Change to another one that puts less pressure on buttock area? What is the "stage 1 and stayed 2"? My doc has not mentioned such thing. Please read caption of photos for addtnl info (didnt fit)
Hi i a getting a Brazilian butt lift and am wondering if wearing a faja straight after procedure is actually necessary and if so would it be better to be a g string one as i really dont know how much compression i should be applying on my butt i know my stomach should and can be compressed by my butt im not sure what the bet thing to do is or should i just get like waist trainer ? Thank you !!!
It seems like every surgeon has their own protocol for compression garments, massages, when to sit, etc, after a BBL. Are there any studies on this at all that are guiding these recommendations? For example, likelihood of seromas based on compression garment use/duration? Fat survival based on when patients are told to start sitting? Id love to hear recommendations from someone using something other than just personal experience.
I have been using Lipo Foams for about 6 months now and Im afraid Ive ruined my bbl symmetry by placing the foams too low on one side. At first it looked like my left side had more lateral projection than the right side so to combat that I began placing my lipo foam a little lower on the left side to compress the bigger lateral. Now that I have fluffed its looks like I have more of a lateral on the right side and the left lateral seems nonexistent now. Is this because of the foam placement?
In 3 days, I'm having a tummy tuck (no muscle work, only loose skin removal) and BBL. I'm 5'2 and 120lbs. My doc said he doesn't use or recommend faja or compression on the buttocks after bbl, it will only be around my waist for the tummy tuck. He's a well regarded surgeon, but I'm seeing so much about the NEED for fajas for WEEKS after surgery....is he going rogue and should I just get one and wear it?
My operation was Dec 29. No complications, I still wear my garment but want to switch to spanx tomorrow (day 19). I have not sat on my butt at all. I started driving with a pillow I also would like to go to a nice dinner (and sit) without bringing a pillow. will it hurt my results? Will I lose the fat? My physician says its ok but to be cautious so I am not sure that answer is conclusive.
