Im 28 years old male with active lifestyle, with a lean/ athletic build. Ive seen noticing that my submandibular glands stick out a lot making my lower jaw look swollen or puffy. I was wondering what doctor I could see about that. I read that they can be injected with botox to reduce their size.
I had to find a new Dr for botox so I did my research and decided on a facial plastic surgeon double board certified with great reviews from 3 different sources. I got Botox last Tuesday. He used 75 units for forehead, eyes, mouth & chin. Ive never had that amount of Botox but trusted he knew why he was doing. The next day under my right eye was bruised and swollen. Now Im fatigued & getting dizzy spells. Theres no undoing botox, this is so freaky Im worried sick.
I originally went in wanting a filler for under eye. The nurse talked me out of it saying I didn't need it and if anything to get just a few units around and under my eye. I agreed and we did 5 on each side. 3 days later I am left with a swollen face. My birthday is in a week and a half and I am panicking. I called the nurse and she said it shouldn't have swelled and doesn't know what it would be. I am going next Monday for a follow up. I did not exercise after botox that day but I did day after
35 yr old / 4th time receiving botox injections/ 20 forehead/glabella /10 across crows feet. Day 4 post botox and my left upper eyelid, and to a lesser extent, my right upper eyelid is very swollen and red, causing much pain, discomfort and making it difficult to close/open my eye (ptosis). Blinking feels like there is sand underneath my eyelid scratching my eye. My tear duct seems to be affected, it is visible (large white dot) and not producing tears, causing dry eyes. I had Botox done 7 days ago for the first time. the outer parts of my eyebrows are more arched making me look harsh, my eye puffy and swollen a bit with makes my eyes much more hooded and when I raise my eyebrows only the outside lifts which makes me look like Spock.I got injected with my mom in law and sister in law and both look fine. I had 20 units in my glabella and 5 units accros my forehead lines. What do I do? Can someone please help? I don't know what to do?
This is my second time getting Botox injection to the forehead. I havent had any issue before but now post injection I have this obvious lump in the center of my forehead that is painful and very tender. I have been icing it but really worried that something is wrong. I have a follow up with injector in 2 weeks. I also sent a pic to which she replied it is just a bruise and to cont icing. I am so uncomfortable from the pain that it makes me think its more than just bruising. Any advise is appreciated.
I had 20 units Botox done 40 days ago. 2 high on forehead,3 along brow each side, 1 in middle of brow. 2 each side low on nose. my eye lids were swollen with tingling, burning and itching. my eye brows and forehead drooped. The injection site in the middle of my bows swelled and it looked like liquid was under my forehead. Iced it, went down. But forehead looks droopy and especially in between my eye brows. Im still dealing with burning, itching and heavyness droopyness and Im on day 40.
Hi! I have had Botox and (I think) dysport a few times. Yesterday I went to a new location and got dysport injected. Today, I have two knots on my forhead(see picture) to which the MD thinks will go away. I'm getting worried as it looks as if they are getting bigger!! What the heck is going on?
Ive had Botox a handful of times over the last few years and this is the second time this has happened. The first time I was told it couldnt be related to the Botox and allergy testing did confirm something else. However, I had Botox injected for crows feet, forehead lines and in the glabella earlier today and am experiencing the same symptoms in my eyes- puffiness, redness and theyre irritated and itchy. Nothing else changed today, no new face products or foods eaten. What is going on?!
