Ever since I began experiencing facial spasms on the left side of my face, it has started to look less symmetrical. The left side of my fave appears bulkier in the jaw and cheek mostly (from what I can see), and my left eye is squintier when I smile. Aesthetically, what is my best option? Would jaw Botox even if it out in the cheek as well? Should I get masseter Botox on one or both sides? Temporal Botox? Eye Botox? Who do I see? Already seeing a rather clueless neurologist (re: Botox) TIA!
I received Botox in my chin after being self conscious of little dents wen I smile in pics. Idk what in the world is going on but after I got it, now every time I move my chin (imagine the way you were to pop a pimple on your chin) it spasms up and I have to wait for it to go down before I leave. Its like a golf ball dent. This happens every morning. Botox never helped the dents either still have them when I smile. Injector nurse refuses its related help!
I had some Botox placed in between my eyebrows for a brow lift. This was done a month ago. Ive begun to feel tingling/tightness in between my eyebrows lasting 5-10 minutes. I looked in the mirror and its causing a visible distortion as well. It appears as a lump on my forehead and my eyes in an angry face, however I dont have control to relax my face while its happening. It almost seems like some kind of spasm, but the muscles should be relaxed if Im correct? Is this normal?
I had Botox injected into my forehead from hairline to glabellum Feb 18th. 30 units. For the last few weeks I've experienced cramping and spasms in my 11 area. The cramps can be felt down to the middle if my nose. If I look in the mirror you can see my muscles contract and distort. If for instance I put pressure on the area it also triggers this. I did consult my injecting doctor about this with no answers. Any info would be helpful here.
4 months ago I went in to have my regular Botox treatment of my crows feet, forehead and 11's I've had for 7 years now by the same practioner. That day he used less around the eyes than usual. One month later I started having spasms under and above my eyes. I returned to him and he added more but this time under the eyes too. This made my bags worse and puffy. It's been 3 months now and the puffiness is getting worse instead of better. What could be the cause and why am I not getting better?
I got my first Botox treatment a month ago and was pretty pleased with the results. A week or so ago, when I was washing my face, I noticed my eyebrows sort of spasmed and moved close together looking as though I was making a sad concerned face, but I wasn't. Now, every time I rub my forehead that happens. I don't know why it's happening or what to do! Is this normal??
I am three weeks post-injection for neck pain and spasms. I now have a droopy neck, am in a neck collar, and have balance problems. I am terrified of permanent and lasting damage to my neck muscles and balance ! Please provide some reassurance ! Am now having panic attacks.....must work as am a teacher ! Any advice so appreciated.
I got Botox in my chin for the first time for a dimple when I talk. Exactly 4 weeks later I was poking on my chin where the Botox was injected and it did this horrible spasm cramp like thing. It dimpled up and looked indented. Kinda made me look like I was ugly crying bc it raised my chin up and I had no control of it. It cleared back up to normal in a minute but every time I press my chin it does it. And now at about 6 weeks out it's doing it all on it's own. Always resolved but embarrassing and scary
I have Blephrospasm, and doc recommends botox injection. My eyes started being overly sensitive to any kind of light before my eyelids started drooping. Most days I stay in the shades and my eyes stay open, but as soon as there is light, they start to spasm.
