Im 28 and have had masseter Botox a couple times a few years ago. When I smile I feel ugly, my thin lips disappear, my face gets weird lines, my cheeks and eyes look puffy, and my jaw looks wide and uneven. I want to find a solution thats non surgical or has no downtime, but I dont know if Botox is the answer, and Im scared of filler. How can I achieve a more beautiful, feminine smile?
Im 28 years old male with active lifestyle, with a lean/ athletic build. Ive seen noticing that my submandibular glands stick out a lot making my lower jaw look swollen or puffy. I was wondering what doctor I could see about that. I read that they can be injected with botox to reduce their size.
I have had Botox previously and no matter how small the does, it has made my eyes puffy above the eyelid, she also tried administering it in different ways as well as trying different brands, why is this? Is there a solution?
The person who injections said it cant be the Botox, but why would this be sagging like this all of a sudden. Feels really uncomfortable I had Botox forehead lift 8 weeks ago and its has started to sag and puff for the past week
I had botox injected too closely around the eye or too low on the brow, which has caused severe under eye bags and water retention around the eye area. This bad injecting has created wrinkles and under eye bags that were never there. I read online this is because the eye muscle isn't moving to release fluid in the orbital area, creating puffiness. I know botox will go away in 3-4 months, but I am concerned this horrible result lasting 3-4 months could cause permanent wrinkling/sagging.
10 weeks post Botox to glabellar area 5 points. (18 units) still having puffy lower eyelids and darkness. I had Botox injected April 1. April 2 woke up to swollen eyes, especially lower eyelids. Took benadryl, 5 days of prensione, allergy medicine (even though i didn't have allergies). Finally had blood drawn at doctors office all came back normal. Went to eye doctor and eyes are all good. What could it be? Seems a little better as time passes could this be from the Botox?
I regularly receive Botox for crows feet and usually don't have problems. More recently, I've had persistent swelling under my eyes at the injection site for up to two weeks. Normally this area is completely flat and I have no normal bags under my eyes. Eventually it resolves but it take a long time and looks bad. It does not respond to icing or anything else. Is it muscle laxity? Irritation? Why does it only happen sometimes?
I originally went in wanting a filler for under eye. The nurse talked me out of it saying I didn't need it and if anything to get just a few units around and under my eye. I agreed and we did 5 on each side. 3 days later I am left with a swollen face. My birthday is in a week and a half and I am panicking. I called the nurse and she said it shouldn't have swelled and doesn't know what it would be. I am going next Monday for a follow up. I did not exercise after botox that day but I did day after
