Botox + Not Working Q&A

I am 24. My frown lines are very deep especially for my age. I had botox twice. I am not able to frown, however, I have not seen a difference in my frown lines. My dermatologist did not want to give me more than 20 units. Do I just need more Botox or another treatment? I have had the lines Since I was 22.

Botox and Dysport no longer effective on brow area. I've used the same doctor for several years; lately, it's not working as well as it used to. Any suggestions?

I've had botox three times within a six week period. Today my dr. injected a sronger dose, and told me if this amount doesn't work then it's not worth my time or $$. What do you think is happening? I only wanted my 11's to relax.

On Friday, I got 38 units injected into my forehead, crows feet, and area between my eyebrows. It's been over 72 hours and I see no effects. I've had Botox 2 times before. The 1st time I got 45 units and the 2nd time I got 30 units... which I felt was more natural. This time I went to a different doctor (I moved) and she gave me 40 units. I called her and she said to come in on Friday and she'll reinject me, as much as needed. But I'm scared! Why didn't it work?? Can I get 80 units and be OK??

I got Botox done for the first time 10 days ago. I'm 28 and don't have any deep lines. I got 25 units for my frown lines and 15 units on my forehead (a total of 40 units). I can still frown easily and still have the 3 small lines on my forehead. Is there a reason why it it isn't working yet?

I am 22. I had botox next to the outer part of my eyebrows and eyes in march and the results were amazing lifting my eyebrows. After one month I put fillers in my eyebrows area but I did not like the results and decided to get rid of them with hyaluronidase. Two months later, I had to do botox again in the same places BUT botox did not work this time and been trying every three months untill now but botox is not working. And when I contract my forhead, the outer part of my eyebrows stays frozen.

I am 53 years old and I have had Botox injections on 5 separate occasions from 5 different board certified doctors hoping that I would see results. I did not. The "eleven" lines between my brows are fine (not deep) therefore I thought Botox would be perfect. Is it possible that I have antibodies that would prevent me from getting results from Botox? Is there an alternative to Botox that would give me the results I am searching for? Thank you so much for your time and advice!

I have had 5 units of Botox to lift my brow, so that my eyelids will look lifted, do men have resistant brows?. It is day 4 and I cannot see any difference. When, will at all, I see a result?, or am I wasting my time. When can it be done again, and how many units do I need ?
